Current video projects
1) lining up behind the badge episodes
2) a super very 100% serious video on USL Mascots
3) a USL stadium video. Still finalizing how I want to do that. It would be more detailed than just a raw Tierlist.

My lukewarm take is that cal Jennings will return to form next season and will reclaim his crown as the USL dictator

Gaku Nishimura, a former @calmsoc star who showcased his talents at the 2025 MLS College Showcase, is the first player we have signed from last month's pro combine. Please give a warm Cascades FC welcome to Gaku!

Great idea
Merchandise and collectibles are one of the best ways to grow the sport. Japan proves it - horse plushies, trading cards and Umamusume have turned racehorses into stars and brought a whole new generation to the track

Replying to @oaklandrootssc
@oaklandrootssc's current setup actually makes a lot of sense. My question is why it took this long to get here.
After years of bouncing around expensive stadiums, burning cash, and trying to look like a bigger professional club than they actually are, they are now moving toward what probably should have been the strategy from day one:
Find a modest home. Control it. Invest in it. Build around it. Prove the business. Then scale.
In other words, buy the “starter home” before trying to live in the mansion.
That is what @fuego_futbol has done. They have stayed within their means, invested in real infrastructure, grown deliberately, and are slowly building an actual investor case instead of trying to manufacture one through appearances.
I think too many lower-division owners get this backwards.
They enter the professional game first, take on professional-level expenses, and only afterward start asking how they are going to build the assets, facilities, revenue streams, and operating structure necessary to support it.
That is basically jumping off a cliff and trying to build the parachute on the way down.
Build the hard assets first. Build the audience. Build recurring revenue. Prove demand. Then scale.
Status should be the result of a strong foundation, not a substitute for one.
