CAT 3 TYPHOON CHAMPI is closing in on Taiwan, with 115 mph winds and gusts to 145 mph and 40 ft seas. The official track passes about 75 miles from Taipei, and Google's AI model has it brushing Taiwan before curving away. We will have to watch this one closely
