$20k to simulate the experience of a roommate with a ketamine problem.
Timeline is excited about the $20k Neo robot. Watch it try to close a dishwasher. We are not ready. 😅

Europe would do well to follow Gates on this pivot. The EU is responsible for just 6% of global emissions, but still thinks it's saving the planet by sorting and washing trash by hand, forgoing AC, or deleting emails (lol). Climate doomerism is degrowth nonsense in a nutshell.
Today, Bill Gates admitted that pushing climate doomerism was a mistake. @LLBiggers: “That shift to common sense is welcome, but it comes after decades of fearmongering that harmed young people, stalled development, and punished dissenting scientists.”

Not a huge fan of @dhh but I like his writings a lot. And his infectious enthusiasm. And the way he talks about running a business. And his willingness to do what’s right even when it’s unpopular. Okay maybe I’m a fan of @dhh.

Planning is the cousin of procrastination
stop planning. just stop. there is literally no fucking point. my business plan? make money. i will simply do the thing that has the highest future probability that will make money. i won't sit there and think about it all day and pat myself on the back for thinking so hard

The new @AshFramework installer has an option when setting up a new project to not install Elixir for you. This should help the `curl | sh` averse folks, and keep it simple for those who already know Elixir & the patterns around it. #AshFramework #ElixirLang #MyElixirStatus

When I was in high school, instead of sex, drugs, and alcohol... I did this: Diplomacy. It was Richard Nixon's favorite board game. It's a combination of a map based strategy game and poker. There's lots of backstabbing. What I learned was that backstabbing was a really effective short-term strategy, but a really bad long-term one. My move was always to find the new guy and befriend him early and then talk about how we would form an early alliance that would mature into domination of Europe. As soon as he committed to that strategy, I'd stab him in the back. It worked well; you'd get a nice early lead. The problem with it is that, while it oftentimes meant that you'd win the game, you'd play with the same people next time. Not only did that guy you backstabbed never ever want to cooperate with you again, but everyone else who found about it would give you the reputation as the backstabber, which made it impossible to make alliances with anyone, even if you kept them. What can you take away from this? Reputation is forever. Doing things right isn't just about integrity, honor, or heaven and hell. It's also about your reputation. Treating people right ensures that others in the future will cooperate with you and success in life is about cooperation! And the other thing is that good short-term strategies are oftentimes bad long-term ones. The "Art of the Deal" strategy comes to mind.

Elixir 1.19 is a banger! I'm so pleased with the direction that #ElixirLang is going. My programs just get faster and more correct every time. I just know that we're in good hands. Thank you to everyone on the team for your hard work! github.com/elixir-lang/elixi… #MyElixirStatus

Is your agent not good at #ElixirLang? Not good at #AshFramework? We're fixing that 😎hexdocs.pm/ash/working-with-… We're going to be pushing this pattern for Elixir in general with a non-ash-specific package soon, but Ash users can try it now #MyElixirStatus
