Errol Lawrence later revisited his theorising on 'racism and common-sense' in this article:

Errol Lawrence - We are sad to announce that the former Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies graduate @unibirmingham has recently passed away. Lawrence had contributed to the acclaimed book, ‘The Empire Strikes Back: Race and Racism in 70s Britain’, published in 1982.

We were provided snippets from final interview with Stuart Hall and gained insights into Halls reflections around Cultural Studies and his work. We also heard from CCCS alumni who walked us through their own experiences with the centre and working with Hall.
On Wednesday the 24th of April, we welcomed @KConnellWriter. Where he spoke about establishing the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies(CCCS) Archive at the Cadbury Research Library, and his interview with Stuart Hall, the last recorded before Hall’s death in 2014.
In this new blog post on the Stuart Hall Archive Project (SHAP) website, together some of the project members, have written a short reflection around the Readings Seminar 'Listening to Stuart Hall' by @AcademicDiary, presented in November 2023.
Below is an image of the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies First Annual Report 1964.

New blog post alert!
Written by our very own @beech_nick, this blog post explores the discoveries and insights that were made by @GoldsmithsUoL, MA Cultural Studies students during a visit to the archive in November 2023.
The archive can be accessed via @CadburyRL at the @unibirmingham. The university has great relevance to the archive, as it was during the period 1968 – 1979 where Hall eventually became the Acting and then Director of the Birmingham Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies.
The archive contains 102 boxes and is an important resource on Stuart Hall’s work, writings and activism, that spanned 6 decades. The archive is incredibly rich and contains a multitude of documents that relate to organisations such as @Iniva_arts , @AutographABP, @CNDuk
