“As coaches you can’t ever quit on guys.”
I asked Troy Coach Skylar Meade about RHP Noah Thigpen notching his 2nd longest outing of his @TroyTrojansBSB career on the biggest stage of them all, the College World Series.
Coach Meade took the opportunity to also praise other players that struggled at some point this season. Now, the “Trojies” are playing superb baseball.
“We truly love our guys, and we will do anything for them, absolutely anything - for me it’s just a good reminder… you coach them as hard as you can until they say your season’s over. Because that’s how you have to optimize your team’s skill set.”
