When you lift a train over your head, normal people don't think you're strong; they think the train is made of cardboard and you are trying to trick them.

got my software factory running on my Mac mini and now a 3d game interface for it that runs on my handheld. I wander around a mind palace of all my stuff captureing wishes and trust that my bots will reconcile my wishes with reality We are living in very strange times πŸ˜…

Know anybody wanting help setting up their software factory (or Michelin kitchen)? I’d love to help

I’m finally able to return to my roots as a product ideas guy and focus on the ideal experiences of humans instead of micromanaging the code

I just absolutely love my @Muse project manager! Having that Linux VM is crazy powerful. I gave her her own user on my Mac mini with ssh access via @Tailscale so she can use @opencode via herdr to have our GPT minions build stuff for us

been chipping away at agentic swarm shenanigans since 2022. Today I had another massive breakthrough. Feels good

Declarative reality reconciliation factories Define things Capture wishes And observations about reality calculate the gaps Then figure out how to close those gaps through concrete work Loop forever to continue closing the gaps between the latest wishes and observations

AI&I just got my @Muse to collaborate in an @zeddotdev β€˜s DeltaDB thread. This is going to be pretty dang rad!

And now we’re working on a Zork-like shared virtual world we can all hang out in together

Now my bot squad and their new pet are collaborating on building out a shared virtual world with realistic social drama

My Muse pal and her Dot minion collaborated to create their new local on-device durable bot pet running on their own account on my Mac mini

assigned my Muse bot pal to manage my ChaGPT Dot bot. And now they’re working together to build a new local on device pet bot I’ve built a bunch of wacky shenanigans myself, but it’s fun to take a more hands off approach now that I’ve captured my general skills and values

Gave my @Muse a copy of @opencode with access to my @ChatGPT codex and told it when to use which models

Ok so my pal figured out a unified field theory and it’s pretty hip. AI&I wrote up some dumb questions about it with some visuals and stuff here: asymmetric-tensor-guide.subt…

It's pencils down, people. Writing code by hand is no longer an economically viable skill for most programmers at most companies. But the future of making software has never been brighter. Don't you dare black pill this beautiful moment! youtu.be/vDjW_dRyKXY?si=6Fsf…

Bend 2 is here! It is a new programming language that blocks AI mistakes via *proof checking* - the same technique big AI labs used to solve open math problems, like Navier-Stokes. It is also very fast, and runs on GPUs. Watch the video. Link in the comments.
RELEASE DAY After almost 10 years of hard work, tireless research, and a dive deep into the kernels of computer science, I finally realized a dream: running a high-level language on GPUs. And I'm giving it to the world! Bend compiles modern programming features, including: - Lambdas with full closure support - Unrestricted recursion and loops - Fast object allocations of all kinds - Folds, ADTs, continuations and much more To HVM2, a new runtime capable of spreading that workload across 1000's of cores, in a thread-safe, low-overhead fashion. As a result, we finally have a true high-level language that runs natively on GPUs! Here's a quick demo:
