Capricor today announced new 24-month data from the HOPE-3 open-label extension, presented last week in a late-breaking poster at the 2026 World Muscle Society Congress in Hiroshima, Japan. Patients who began Deramiocel after a year on placebo experienced a 76% reduction in their rate of upper limb decline compared with their own prior year. At 24 months, both treatment groups had declined less than natural history predicts. Read the full press release: bit.ly/4ANTtOD #Duchenne #DMD #WMS2026 #Deramiocel $CAPR

New $CAPR 24-month OLE data released. What’s so striking to me is what happened when the placebo group crossed over to deramiocel: their rate of upper-limb decline slowed by 76%, from −2.05 PUL 2.0 points during their year on placebo to −0.49 during their first year on treatment. One of the strongest supportive signals that a drug is having an effect is when the same patients show a meaningful change after switching from placebo to treatment. This data further strengthens my belief that DMD patients need access immediately. capricor.com/investors/news-…

Late Breaking clinical trial #HOPE-3 OLE shows striking benefits of #deramiocel sustained over two years of therapy, and 76% slowing of #Duchenne myopathy progression in those who crossed over from placebo to deramiocel after one year. Work of ace #DMD trialist Craig McDonald highlighted at the @WorldMuscleSoc meeting in Hiroshima. Trial sponsored by @Capricor based on intellectual property from my team at Cedars-Sinai.

Capricor is headed to the 2026 World Muscle Society Congress in Hiroshima, Japan, September 29 – October 3. We’re looking forward to sharing new HOPE-3 open-label extension data for Deramiocel in Duchenne muscular dystrophy, including skeletal muscle and cardiac outcomes through 24 months. Dr. Craig McDonald of UC Davis will present the findings in a late-breaking poster and an oral presentation, alongside additional research from our StealthX™ platform exploring muscle-targeting extracellular vesicle technologies. We’re proud to continue advancing the science and working toward better options for boys and families living with Duchenne. 💙 Read more: bit.ly/3TFiBWZ $CAPR #Deramiocel #Duchenne #DMD #exosomes #WMS2026 #WorldMuscleSociety

Today, we join the global community in recognizing World Duchenne Awareness Day. This year’s theme, “Access Changes Lives,” reminds us that meaningful progress goes beyond just scientific breakthroughs. It means ensuring that individuals living with Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy have access to the care, support, and opportunities they need. At Capricor, we remain committed to continuing to push forward with Deramiocel and our mission to help make a difference in the lives of those living with DMD. Together, we can raise awareness, inspire action, and work toward a brighter future for the Duchenne community. 💚 $CAPR #WDAD2026 #DuchenneAwareness #DMD #AccessChangesLives #Deramiocel
