All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.

I won’t be going to see Clayface in 2 weeks because of what the DCU did to Hal Jordan. They won’t be getting my money. I’d encourage others who are upset to do the same. Boycott the DCU until they correct this mistake
Oh so these mfs admitted it. This makes me angry as hell
Zack Snyder has never seen Joss Whedon's "Justice League" and reflects on the DC Universe being taken away from him:
"There was a point when ['Justice League'] was released that was a low point for me because the pile-on effect was so insane. Not only did I lose my daughter, but also they’ve released this version of the movie that I had nothing to do with and my name is on a movie that I didn’t make."
"I met with this executive at Warner Bros. and he said to me, 'You know, Zack, I’ve got to tell you one thing: You were right about everything.' And I was like, 'That’s kind of you.' And he goes, 'We were fighting you, and in the end you were right'... [They were fighting me on the] whole vision for the DC universe and the way I made movies and everything. They did this attempt to control it — and I’m just talking about the regime that was there that’s no longer there. They had this massive IP that’s worth a ton and I can understand wanting to protect it as best they could since all their jobs depended on it working, and they’d put it in the hands of a madman — or so they thought — so the part of them thinking that, and this is going to sound horrible, 'This thing that happened to Zack is a window for us to take the movie back now.'"

Zack Snyder confronts the instant backlash to his new movie "The Last Photograph," including accusations of misogyny and excessive violence towards women:
"The amount of energy and the amount of vitriol I find really incredible. 'I want to kill Zack Snyder.' 'Zack Snyder is a fascist.' 'Zack Snyder is a homophobe'... [The movie] is 'homoerotic' and 'transphobic' and 'fascist' and all these things... I mean, I don’t know. First of all, I would argue that the violence toward women and men is equal and that nobody is spared — men, women, children, everybody. The justice that’s doled out in the movie is in the same way that a hurricane doles out justice. To try and superimpose morality over it and want the violence to mean something — the meaning is that violence doesn’t work and doesn’t get anything done.
We’re all human. I guess in my feed, and this is just what my algorithm shows me, it’s a conversation. Even though I think it started out, 'Zack Snyder sucks!' 'F*ck him!' 'You fascist!' What happens now is, 'You guys are fucking crazy. This is just a movie. Calm down.'"

When someone asks me why I dislike modern MCU synergized spider-man, this is why. To many of us this is Spider-man.
Also pretty sure half of the new age CBMT fans were 10 when Tom became spider-man and have heavy bias towards tom because that’s who they grew up with.
Bros talking about backstory when the mcu ain’t even give brother one 😭😭😭✌️ always the whataboutism but yall can’t back nothing up about your own. Dude also completely dismisses Uncle Ben like he isn’t the reason Peter is spider-man. Tired of these larpers
2006 EASY. 2023 gets brownie points for looking almost 1 to 1 to Jim Lee’s beast.
Not sure what crack was being smoked back in 2011 😭

This is so disingenuous. The problem isn’t the fact that spider-man interacts with other superheroes, the issue is that they altered characters stories to align with other heroes such as iron man. Like why are half of their origins centered around Tony stark?
They also basically replaced Uncle Ben with Tony. Hell instead of introducing actual characters from Peter’s lore Jameson, Robbie, Harry etc they shoehorn other heroes in the films just because they can now under Disney.
Oh yeah, he’s beast.
Charles Melton responds to rumors about him playing Beast in the new ‘X-MEN’ movie.
“It depends on what day or moment you catch me on, but right now I’d say I think I believe in Jake Schreier and Lee so much, I would love to work with them again.”
