🎙️We have poured hours into analyzing what feminism is, as well as what its cultural impact has been on the church, individuals, books, mass media, and the family. ✨Being able to diagnose feminism as the problem that it is is obviously something that we think is important.✨
🧪This week discuss what some of the cures for the poison would be. Okay, so we can all agree that there is a problem – but perhaps more importantly, what is the solution?

People love to complain about other people protein-maxing.
The thing all of those people have in common is 30%+ body fat.

I’m impervious to baby fever and mom slop “you’re gonna miss this” “this is where I’ll go when I’m 80” posts because when I look at my firstborn, the most wonderful beautiful hilarious kind sweet girl to have ever walked this planet, I couldn’t change her back into a baby or a toddler for all the money in the world. Who she has become is the best gift I’ve ever received.
Me: *overthinking how I’m gonna make the holiday magic for my kids this year*
My 4 yr old when I handed him a fresh, new stack of contraction paper to play with: Oh, WOW! This is amazing!
Ok. Ok. Got it. Can do.

Last week Allie Beth Stuckey attacked horror films, and anything that was scary...like true crime.
Saying things like this prevents studios that cater to specific conservative audiences to not want to take the financial risk to discover new talent, who create new things.
This damages the entire new artist pipeline.
If studios release a horror film, or a suspense film and it offends the stay at home mother like Allie, they risk alienating the entire female fan base. Which is their primary market, leftover from the Christian Bookstores days.
This means we never get to see micro budget thrillers or emerging artists. Those story tellers are forced to either make hallmark slop to appease conservative female audiences or go and try to gain attention from major studios. Good luck.
So there's a problem that I set out to solve.
How can narrative film makers, get their micro budget projects seen and funded? How can we push the boundaries of entertainment without begging for Hollywood's scraps?
Last week we began opening up pitches for artists. Of all the submissions we got, one really stood out. I'm Fine.
I'm Fine is the story of a reclusive woman who refuses to accept the world has moved on from a pandemic is forced to decide if the greatest danger lies outside her locked doors... or within.
The film is made by Husband and Wife team Andew and Jae Huff, and stars Jae Huff.
The goal is simple. The film has already been shot. But it doesn't stream unless the audience funds it.
If the audience likes it, they fund it. If it reaches its goal in 30 days it streams for everyone.
No gatekeepers. No Hollywood studios. No focus groups.
Just the creators and the fan.
Here's a clip from I'm Fine. If it peaks your interest, visit LOOR, and give a bit to produce it. Top producers get their name in the credits. The winner takes the top spot.
This is just the beginning as we sort through all the other submissions. So stay tuned.

I actually cannot tell you how many times I have crossed every t & dotted every i, and some government official is like “yea you did this all wrong, do it again” and then I’ve done it again and they were like WOW can you even READ, rejected! Thanks for that $50, but start from scratch. So I’ve done it again and they’ve been like “ok this is perfect but I want it notarized.” So I’ve gotten it notarized and resubmitted it. And then they came back with, “wow actually since you didn’t do this in exactly 23 days and 47 seconds, you’ll have to start the process over again, thank you. That will be 59 more dollars and also mail us a blood sample for fun this time.”
My favorite episode of Star Trek is “Cause and Effect”. What’s yours? youtu.be/T_X7ll3kXQE?is=H0Bb…

I think many of you would have more fun if you understood that being disliked by losers is the price you must pay for not being one.
