The Norm entrance jokes on Cheers were famously tough to write. George Wendt delivered 200+ of them over 11 seasons. As the show’s popularity grew, so did expectations. Writers said the real genius wasn’t always on the page; it was Wendt’s physical comedy, delivery, and timing.

Big, if true
A while ago a tech bro told me with complete seriousness that sports are dead because nobody will watch live sports anymore when in the near future you could just generate video of a whole personalized sports season where your favorite team always wins.

Beyond his hubris, a major aspect as to why Trump is a bad president is his insistence to focus on purely performative things that don't help Americans in any way.
BREAKING: President Trump announces he will sign a document officially renaming artificial intelligence to "super intelligence."

How could there not be an AI bubble? All of these tech overlords don't seem to have participated in society at all
Instinct CEO Noah Shinn says agents will let restaurants give tables to birthdays and anniversaries over whoever clicks first "And traditionally, because of the way that the internet has worked, at least for reservations, it's been first come first serve. So anyone that comes in, no matter how important or how not important it might be, whoever gets in first gets the reservation." "But what if you had the ability for the agent to be able to communicate on both sides, communicate, hey, this is important. This is actually the person's spouse's birthday, the 30th birthday, a very special event is coming up." "And the restaurant too can say, let's actually prioritize birthdays or major decade birthdays or major anniversaries or these certain people, I don't know, whatever it might be, right?" "So now with the ability, with all of the logistical burden of having to describe exactly what your case is and what's happening and why it's important. Now we have the ability to perfectly match what does the restaurant want? What does the user want?" "And that will result in more special events for the users being able to actually have a spot in the restaurant."

Eagles -3.5 might be the easiest bet of your life. I understand Chicago is the sharp side. I’m telling you right now, it won’t matter one bit. You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than seeing the Bears cover tonight. I’m one of the biggest Caleb Williams believers out there, and tonight the world is going to find out just how much he means to this football team. Chicago has a 0% chance of covering. Yes. ZERO percent.

The only people I think this would appeal to are high schoolers that have to lock up their phones. Outside of that, I can't imagine wanting this

This seems like a reasonable idea with precedent from Obama’s education department. The government shouldn’t be in the business of encouraging people to take loans they won’t be able to repay.

Ok, somebody has to put this OutKast vs Mobb Deep BS to bed so TonyDaDome will handle this easily. Greatest or Greater vs who you like better or resonate with is different. When sticking to just metrics, here are 10 points 👑 1. OutKast are more versatile than Mobb Deep MUSICALLY. 2. OutKast as MCs have more DIVERSE subject matter. 3. OutKast as MCs have multiple FLOWS. 4. OutKast albums cross genres & are more CRITICALLY acclaimed. 5. OutKast has SOLD more albums by a substantial margin. 6. OutKast has more AWARDS by a substantial margin. 7. OutKast albums ELEVATED an entire region lyrically & musically. 8.Big Boi >Havoc 9. Andre more versatile than Prodigy as an MC 10. OutKast shifted various cultures. This is the DEFINITION of GREATER. This isn’t who you personally think is doper or better because of preference. OutKast is GREATER than Mobb Deep in MUSIC. This isn’t physics & if it hurts your ego, too bad. Peace ✌🏽 The GREATEST Group #OutKast #MobbDeep #HipHop #TonyDaDome

The media market now means you can avoid any and all media.
What Some Folks Really Mean When They Claim to Have Never Heard ‘Choosin’ Texas’ Proclaiming you're unfamiliar with Ella Langley's record-setting song has a lot in common with saying "I listen to anything but country." rollingstone.com/music/music…

Cheers when Kristie Alley replaced Shelley Long. It went from a sitcom built around Sam & Diane's romance to a true ensemble show. Bar Wars became a highlight, great recurring characters like Kelly, Henri and Robin Colcord. The cast having some of their best moments. Perfection.
is there any tv show in which their later seasons are better than their first?? feels like that never happens
