I’m Manuel Rendon, founder of Timeplast and String Cubed. I’ve spent more than a decade working on programmable materials, I’m named on 8 granted U.S. patents, and Nestlé Waters invested in my first company. Now I’m trying something unusual. I made one video specifically for @elonmusk about what I believe could be an early technological ancestor of the Star Trek replicator. I’m not asking anyone to believe me. Watch it. Judge it. If you finish it and think Elon should see it, help move it one person closer. ElonWatchThis.com

Singular Year 1 on one page. Proposed to start March 20, 2028, when the March equinox falls on Monday, March 20, 2028 (UTC). Thirteen months, the Moon's real phases, and Year End Day on March 19, 2029. Meant for the proposed Singular City, and still only a proposal.

Is a 28-day month a Moon month? No. The Moon's cycle is about 29.53 days, so its phases shift about 1.5 days against each Singular month. The calendar doesn't pretend otherwise. The printed version shows the real phases for the year instead.

In the Singular Calendar a date always falls on the same weekday. May 12 is a Friday every year, so a birthday on that Singular date lands on a Friday every year. It works because Year End Day sits outside the week. A proposal for the proposed Singular City.

The second, our unit of time, is physically sound. A year is not a whole number of days. That is no flaw in the calendar, just a mismatch between our place in the solar system and our numbers. The hours gather into a Leap End Day every four years or so. We propose celebrating it.

A snowy night in New York, two strangers, one question. She put her hands to her face and said yes. I happened to be standing there with a Contax T3 and Kodak Portra 400.

Every month in the Singular Calendar has 28 days and starts on a Monday. The 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd are always Mondays. The 17th is always a Wednesday. Learn one grid and you know every month. A calendar proposed for the proposed Singular City.

In the calendar I proposed, March is month 1. That makes September the 7th month again, October the 8th, November the 9th and December the 10th, so the names match their Latin numbers once more. The 13th month, Emmanuelle, closes the year.

Shape a string of material in 3D and you can make almost anything. That idea is where String Cubed starts. The biggest project on that path is the proposed Singular City, a real-life MMORPG: arrive at Level 0, level up through real quests. elonwatchthis.com/stage4

Day 1 of the calendar I proposed falls on the March equinox. In 2028 that's 02:17 UTC on Monday, March 20. In New York it's still Sunday, March 19, at 10:17 PM ET. Even a calendar built on the Sun needs a time zone footnote.

The calendar I proposed, in short: 13 months of 28 days, each starting on a Monday. 13 x 28 is 364, so one Year End Day outside any week closes the gap to 365, with a second one in leap years. Your birthday lands on the same weekday every year.

@grok can you please elaborate on the seriousness of this video, the person behind it, and the scientific paper proposed?
