Okay, it was time to update my Video Game Collection album!
New room, new items - here's a detailed look at my ever-expanding #retrogaming collection!

The Nazi salute is just too much for me, guys.
I can't justify being on Twitter anymore.

I hope this isn't goodbye because I love you all! ❤️
Another cool benefit to my new Evercade VS is that the controllers are USB, so you get really nice classically styled gamepads for PC!
I never even had to remap anything

It's called the Switch 2 because you take one look at it and then "switch 2" a different system.

The conversation in one of the Retro Gaming Servers I'm on turned to the Power Glove and gave me an excuse to pluck it from my wall and put it on for a pic again!

I didn't. It's just a clever use of Staacks' new tool that makes slideshows for the Game Boy 😅
Keep a sharp eye out for fakes now!

I took some fun size-comparison pics of my new Evercade VS-R.
Look how huge it is compared to my SNES! 😱
(Just kidding, that's my SNES Classic.)
The VS is actually a pretty small system, so I compared it with my Dreamcast and PC Engine.

I got the Evercade-compatible Super Pocket for Christmas and since then my collection has grown steadily by the day.
I'm Evercade-pilled now. Evercadecore. I'm in my Evercade era now.

I reached the minesweeper mini-game in Goodboy Galaxy, so I guess my new Evercade device is going to just be a Minesweeper machine for a while now! 😅
One of my gifts this past Christmas was these Zelda-inspired pixel heart earrings I'm wearing today!
Repping my retro love!

It's the first weekend of 2025, and I'm taking some time today to try out the recently-released fan-made port of GTA3 for the Dreamcast!
Drops a few frames, but overall it runs SUPER well!

This is so freakin' cool!
I signed up at retrodotcards .com and I thought they were out of stock - but then this card for homebrew solitaire for the GBA e-reader showed up in the mail!
Using the eReader to run GBA software is so cool!

Here's another thing I like about Evercade - not only do I get physical copies of cool indie games like Good Boy Galaxy and Witch N Wiz, but look at the stuff in the box! Manual, poster, map, stickers!
In modern game cases you're lucky to get any printed materials at all!
For Xmas I got this "super pocket" with old ROMs installed. It seems like a common, cheap emulation handheld, but it actually has an Evercade port!
After dismissing Evercade for 5 years I got some games for it and they're actually great? PlayStation ports run fantastic!
