Oct 12, 1940. One British cruiser, alone in the moonlight, against a pack of Italian torpedo boats and destroyers.
HMS Ajax was already famous. Ten months earlier she'd helped hunt down the German pocket battleship Graf Spee at the Battle of the River Plate.
Now she was in the Mediterranean, scouting out on her own ahead of the British fleet southeast of Sicily.
Just after 1:30 a.m., under a full moon, three Italian torpedo boats spotted her and charged. They fired torpedo after torpedo. Every one missed.
One of them, Airone, closed to about 750 yards and opened fire with her guns, hitting Ajax on the bridge and below the waterline and starting a fire.
Then Ajax hit back. In minutes, Airone and Ariel were sinking.
The Italians weren't done. Four destroyers came in next, led by Captain Carlo Margottini aboard Artigliere. Artigliere's shells knocked out one of Ajax's gun mounts and her radar.
Ajax turned on her and smashed her. Artigliere was left burning and dead in the water, with Margottini among the dead. Another destroyer, Aviere, was badly damaged.
At dawn another Italian destroyer was towing the crippled Artigliere home when the British heavy cruiser HMS York appeared over the horizon. The Italians cut the tow and ran.
York gave Artigliere's crew time to get off the ship. Then she sank her.
When it was over, one cruiser had sunk two torpedo boats, wrecked a destroyer, and damaged another. Around 300 Italian sailors were dead.
Ajax lost 13 men. Three weeks later she was back at sea.

He wants the public to believe football rules and foreign investments are totally separate, yet his local administration used public money to buy up land specifically for Abu Dhabi developers.
The Prime Minister is only agreeing to publish these records because he was caught red handed using his political office to shield foreign oligarchs while taxing British workers into the dirt.
I want every single unredacted diary entry, text message, and private meeting note released to the British public immediately without Whitehall censorship.

West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to identify following the theft of cash and a bank card from an elderly woman in Wolverhampton.
The woman, who is in her 80s, was waiting for a bus on Victoria Street at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, July 7, when her cash and bank card were stolen from her bag. She later discovered the items were missing.
Anyone who recognises the woman or has information that could help police is asked to call 101 or contact West Midlands Police via Live Chat, quoting crime reference 20/329402/26.

The IPCC has nothing.
Forty years of civilizational alarm. Trillions of dollars redirected. Energy systems dismantled. Farmers crushed. Children taught to fear the sky. Political freedom surrendered. Reproductive choices second-guessed. Entire economies rewired.
For nothing.
There is no empirical finding underneath any of it. None. Not one measurement, standing on its own, that would move a reasonable person to alarm.
The entire structure is manufactured.
Ask for one item. True without a model. Significant without a redefinition. Measured without extrapolation. Able to stand alone and matter to a parent, a farmer, a shipowner, an engineer, a legislator.
The honest inventory is three measurements. Not one of them means anything by itself.
CO₂ rose from 315 to 425 ppm since 1958. Plants grew better. Nothing bad happened that follows from the number.
Humans emit about 10 GtC/yr from combustion. A flux figure. By itself it tells you nothing.
CO₂ absorbs infrared on known bands. Water vapor absorbs far more. A spectroscopic line is not a consequence.
That is it. The entire empirical pile. Three measurements. Zero significance.
Everything else they have told you is one of three tricks.
Model output passed off as observation. Climate sensitivity. Airborne fraction read as retention. Revelle-limited uptake. Millennial persistence. Attribution of warming to forcing. Catastrophic projection. None of this is measured. All of it is what model code returns when they turn its crank. Model output is the model's assumptions integrated forward. It is not testimony from nature. It never was.
Definitional sleight-of-hand. Global mean surface temperature called a physical quantity. It is not. It is an area-weighted arithmetic mean of intensive readings with no thermodynamic referent. The 44 percent ratio of annual growth to annual emission relabeled as an airborne fraction and sold as retention. It carries zero information about retention. Fossil "dominance" quietly redefined from "nearly all" to "a bare majority" so the claim survives data that killed the real version.
Extrapolation sold as measurement. Tide gauges spliced to altimetry and projected as acceleration. Local pH drift at a handful of stations generalized to a planetary crisis. Arctic ice loss broadcast while Antarctic stability is dropped. Retreating glaciers paraded. Advancing ones hidden.
Strip the models. Strip the redefinitions. Strip the extrapolations. The pile is empty.
This is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
The civilizational emergency has no empirical content. It was built by running trivial measurements through model chains and definitional swaps until the output read as apocalypse. Then it was broadcast as settled science. Then dissent was criminalized. Then careers were destroyed. Then children were terrified. Then nations were restructured.
For nothing.
The emperor has no clothes.
The pile is empty.
The alarm is a fabrication.
The greatest lie ever told to the human species was told in the name of saving the planet from a trace gas that feeds every green thing that lives.
That is the headline.
That is the story.
That is what you were never supposed to notice.

The biggest interferences in the Brexit referendum were:
1. Project Fear, led by a Canadian Governor of the Bank of England and enthusiastic globalist, who'd prefer nations didn't exist.
2. A Remain campaign lavishly funded by the EU and several global donors.
3. A President of the US, Obama, who stated Britain wouldn't get a trade deal with the US if it left the EU.
4. A mainstream media overwhelmingly pro-Remain, including the BBC, ITV, C4 and Sky.
All worked in favour of the Remain vote.

Andy Burnham used his first appearance on the world stage to launch the National Centre for Information Defence, citing alleged Russian interference in British democracy.
Today, Mr Burnham again claimed that Russia interfered in the Brexit referendum by spreading disinformation. These allegations have been thoroughly investigated and found to be false.
Why is he raising them now? Because Brexit runs counter to his aims and the progressive orthodoxies he believes in.
This is misinformation being used to justify a crackdown on misinformation.
Following the referendum, the highly respected Oxford Internet Institute found that posts linked to Russia amounted to a minuscule proportion of the posts people had read on social media: less than one-thousandth of 1 per cent.
People need to see what is happening. The Government is spreading misinformation about misinformation.

When I’ve been asked if I think a General Election is on the way, I’ve replied that the worse the economy is the quicker the election is coming.
It will be a race for Burnham to get to the polls to fleece the public before he has to beg the IMF for a bailout - and never forget the draconian conditions they would insist upon for such a bailout.
Now that Burnham is reported to be rushing to axe photo ID checks at elections suggests to me he plans a GE earlier than he has led people to believe.
