“I want to become like you.” Those words came from a little girl who was once forced to beg on Delhi’s streets and is now going to school. Some of these children want to become police officers, some want to become doctors, and now they are beginning to see a future beyond the streets. Meeting them was deeply emotional for me, but this is only the beginning. We have to ensure that every such child reaches school.
