π£ ANNOUNCEMENTπ£
For those of you unaware, we (Riley's Corner) have merged with @Custys_FC_2nd. Both teams have been struggling for numbers, and rather than fold, we've combined our squads in order to keep what is a great bunch of lads together, whilst not scraping XI each week
We're starting a last man standing to raise money for the club, if you're interested drop us a message and I'll send you the details over π
No game this week as unfortunately our opponents have folded, so we've decided to have an inter-squad friendly instead, hopefully the lads can continue to give the managers a selection headache π€£π€β½ #UTFS

For those of you unaware, we (Riley's Corner) have merged with @Custys_FC_2nd. Both teams have been struggling for numbers, and rather than fold, we've combined our squads in order to keep what is a great bunch of lads together, whilst not scraping XI each week
Furthermore, we will be playing under the name Swifts, the pub on Stanley Rd who have kindly offered to sponsor us for the season. We look forward to seeing what the future holds and hope this will be the turning point for the club as we have struggled over the last 3 seasons.
With all that in mind, the first game of the merge on Sunday!

What better way to start a merge than against top of the league. The lads will have to gel quickly and be on it for the full game! πͺ #UTFS
Got slapped again, was in the game and same old falling apart when we conceded. Onto next week π€·ββοΈ oh and @AntSwindells scored a pen π
Back at it tomorrow!

After a disappointing last few results and no game last week, looking to finally put things right this Sunday against a strong Halewood side β½
No game tomorrow as council have shut the pitches, still think they called it too early π€·ββοΈ
Disappointing 7-0 defeat in the county cup to @altparkfc yesterday, we were in it for the first half an hour but as soon as they scored heads went down and the floodgates opened. We were well and truly punished for mistakes and sloppy play and beaten by the better side π€
Huge game on Sunday!

The lads will be looking to cause a cup upset this weekend against a very good Alt Park who'll be challenging for the league above us and be looking to go far in this competition.
Poor result losing 5-1 to No.9, not much to say about the game, beaten by the better team, just need to work harder and try and put things right next week.

Big game against the early pace setters, hoping to be the first team to take points off the league leaders π
FT 5-5, what a weird game that was, conceded 3 penalties, scored a penalty, made too many mistakes at the back and missed so many good chances but that's football at the end of the day. Credit to @TheDarkHouseFC for staying in the game, good luck for the season π

Lads are looking to shake off last week's disappointing result against another side we've not faced before. As always, expecting a tough battle πͺβ½

Big game on tomorrow against a team we've played about 1000 times. Always a great battle and never a dull affair, the lads will need to be right up for it πͺβ½
