A historic day for SMU Athletics!
Proud to make SMU the first Division I program in Texas to add men’s lacrosse. With the tremendous growth of the sport across our state, we see an incredible opportunity to build an elite program on the Hilltop.

How do in-house lawyers choose outside counsel—and what makes them call the same lawyer again?
We flipped the script in @SMULawSchool’s Corporate Counsel Externship Program, looking at law firm practice through the client’s eyes.

Last night I had the profound honor of walking my daughter Alexandra down the aisle at @SMU’s Perkins Chapel.
She married Matthew Melcher in a ceremony filled with faith, family, and pure joy. We celebrated at the @TheBushCenter.
They exited the only way that felt right: in a 1968 Ford Mustang restored by Matt’s dad.
What made it even more special? All six of us — Amy and me, Carson and Ali, Alexandra and Matt — are @SMUMustangs.
Two generations. One university. Endless pride!

Excited to launch The Dallas Office at SMU, a bold new initiative designed to strengthen collaboration with Dallas-based corporations, civic organizations and community partners while expanding access to the University’s talent, research and expertise.
The Dallas Office will serve as our front door to the city and region and will expand opportunities for our students, faculty and partners.
I’m thrilled to share that Kit Sawers has been named CEO of the office and a vice president of the University and will lead this work forward.
She will start on August 3, and I couldn’t be more excited for her to hit the ground running in this defining moment for Dallas and SMU! bit.ly/4sZoMB2
