Maybe Hockey Canada will finally learn that the hardest thing to do in Hockey is score, and stop bringing trees and vets to fill out the lineup.

Both of USAs goals were scored by offensive gamebreakers, Canada's goal was scored by an offensive game gamebreaker.
Both the men's and women's teams are plagued by archaic thinking at the very top, and the decision makers should be ashamed of themselves.
This isnt even Canada specific. You just simply cannot play the game like this. Its never worked in the past 5-10 years
I donโt understand how teams will get a 1 or 2 goal lead against Canada and then sit back and play not to lose. Why do coaching staffs let that happen? Thatโs not enough against a team like this. You need 3+ insurance goals to sit back in a trap the whole game or play without risk. If my team had a 2 goal lead against Canada Iโd be telling them to toe drag at the blue line last man back. Be a show off, do cocky shit. Keep the pedal on the floor until we are winning by 5 goals. It never works out when teams play not to lose against a squad like this. You kinda have to play like a delusional idiot and take risks even when youโre up a couple goals if you wanna win. Itโs not a hard concept. I should be coaching Finland
