Recently I have went with a new stack for a project that needs lots of CPU and a database. Much cheaper alternative than megaclouds:
- @Hetzner_Online 8CPU/32GB RAM €39.15/m
- @supabase database in the same region $25/m
- Synpse for automated deployment (synpse.net/blog/vultr-gpu-se…) - free
Setup is more powerful than EKS or GKE clusters on megaclouds that would cost thousands of $ per month. When using managed Kubernetes for your projects you are often paying cloud providers more to run kubernetes than to run your workloads
