A thread about how Gooseworx has talked about Jax
Jax has frequently been described by Gooseworx as a character who is self-indulgent and based on intrusive thoughts. Gooseworx has said that Jax is her "self-insert" on multiple occasions.
During a screening of the finale, the voice actor for Gangle, Marissa Lenti, explained that Jax was apparently the "worst-case scenario" for Gooseworx. The story is apparently deeply personal to her.
In June 2023, Glitch started revealing characters from The Amazing Digital Circus. Caine and Pomni had been revealed prior to this, while the rest of the cast had only been teased.
The first to be revealed was Ragatha, with Gooseworx providing additional commentary about her.
Since 2023, Gooseworx has stated that the voice of Jax was created when she asked Michael Kovach to do a Raggedy Andy impression out of context.
According to several animators as well as Gooseworx, Jax is possibly the hardest character to animate in The Amazing Digital Circus. Her mouth and eyes have caused numerous problems for animators. This is also mentioned in the art book teasers as well as blogs on the Glitch Inn.

Gooseworx would go on to state various things about the comic universe, such as that Gangle can walk on water during a full moon and that Kinger is a PNG without any features. During GLITCHX 2023, she stated that Jax sounds like every Seth McFarlane character talking at once.
In May 2023, Gooseworx posted the second promotional comic for The Amazing Digital Circus. The comic featured Caine, Pomni, and the Bone Pastor. Michael Kovach would comment under the post stating that he was excited to see more of the Bone Pastor in the show.
In July 2023, Gooseworx would reveal that Jax was the Bone Pastor all along
