surreal to see how people use spawn for different purposes.
this is amazing.
a dad joined Spawn last Friday night to build one thing: a town where the shopkeepers teach his 9 year old multiplication, one plate of buttons at a time. lessons inside the play, not bolted on the side.
by Saturday morning the kid was on the first quests and reporting the bugs Dad missed. by the afternoon he had made five games of his own.
dad had tried this twice before, in Unreal and three.js.
@spawn is the one that shipped.
Made a third-person roguelite for a game jam themed King of the Hill.
You’re a badass barbarian conquering kingdoms with nothing but your fists. Each king is, you guessed it, at the top of a hill. Getting to him means punching your way through his entire army.
Take his crown, then go find the next king.
It’s called The Crownless. If that sounds like a good time, you can play the demo 100% free 👇

Cool feature from @spawn is seeing people play the game and leave feedback for me to fix it. I rushed this out for the competition but now I feel like I have a team of people helping me. lol.

Being a featured title on @spawn is truly humbling. I have almost no game dev experience and I was able to create something people enjoy.
Shoutout to @alightinastorm for getting me into this lane, I owe him everything.

This week I started work on a new project based off of the idea of a King in a cursed castle, whose throne can be seen from any of the rooms, always above you and his now corrupted subjects.
Right now I have a WIP with very basic rooms, enemies and gameplay, but I really want to expand and polish it more!
If you couldn't tell, this is very much inspired by one of my favorite games, called "Lunacid" hahaha.

I created a game based on the classic Quake 3 and its rocket jumping mechanic for this week's "King of the Hill" game jam at @spawn .
It also has multiplayer with more weapons, while keeping that minimalist style
More jumping levels on the way

Ferris wheel in my santa cruz shark zombie game about to launch it in an hour or so on @spawn
i wanna make the sniper much more AAA and realistic looking
but very happy how i got all of this working by telling savi what i want
reload looks, sounds and feels good
cozy japanese town
savi never fails to make me happy, im also so vague in my prompts
its so fucking awesome how good the results come out every single time
what people are making in a day is starting to look like the games they’ve wanted to make for years.
Made this action roguelike in a little over a day with Astra inside @spawn.
What gets me is how little interrupts you. I'm playing, something feels off or I get an idea, I tell the agent, and we change it while I'm still in the game.
No stopping to deploy a build and jump back in. Just playing and making it better until suddenly the whole day's gone.

I'm always getting distracted working in @spawn...
I was supposed to be finishing a new arena, but just had to make these prestige sword and perfect dodge effects.
Ink Style.

Prepare to get your mind blown.
This is @spawn, make games with words. A vibe coding platform for making games.
Talk to an AI to make games like this, with built-in multiplayer.
