I received an email from an account claiming to be Twitch regarding a copyright strike. The sender's information was: Twitch [email protected] This email address is suspicious and does not belong to Twitch. These phishing emails are designed to scare you into thinking your account is in danger and prompt you to click a link and log in. Once you enter your credentials on a fake login page, scammers may use that information to steal your account. Here are some important safety tips: Check the sender's email address. Twitch's official email domains include @twitch.tv, @justin.tv, and @amazon.com. Be suspicious of messages coming from unfamiliar domains. Never click suspicious links. If you receive a copyright strike or account violation notice, open Twitch directly through your browser or official app to check your account status. Never enter your login information on unfamiliar websites. A page that looks identical to Twitch's login page can still be fake. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA). This adds another layer of protection to your account. Report suspicious emails. Don't reply, download attachments, or provide personal information.
