Tri-County’s Consumer Foundation (TCCF) helps meet the unmet needs of children and adults receiving behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) services through Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare. Through the generosity of our supporters, we can help clients access essential resources, overcome challenges, and improve their quality of life. Today, we’re sharing two perspectives that highlight this impact: a testimonial from a client who received assistance and a case manager’s perspective on the difference support has made for their client. Together, we’re meeting essential needs, creating opportunities, and making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Learn more about the Tri-County Consumer Foundation at tccf.us

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we pause to honor and celebrate the diverse cultures, stories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities, as well as the voices within our own Tri-County family. This week, we are proud to highlight Katherine Mendoza Bibb, Multisystemic Therapy Clinical Supervisor, who shares her perspective on breaking down stigma and creating space for more open conversations around mental health and substance use. Her insights remind us that speaking openly, seeking support, and encouraging others to do the same can help create a more understanding and supportive community.

Every step was a reminder that we are stronger when we walk together and that no one should have to face their struggles alone. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to AFSP for bringing our community together for such a meaningful event.

Throughout September, our Tri-County team came together to share messages of hope, encouragement, strength, and kindness in recognition of Suicide Prevention Month. Staff filled our Wall of Hope with words of support and reminders that no one has to face difficult moments alone. These messages were shared with our clients as a “Take What You Need” wall—giving them an opportunity to take a message of encouragement whenever they needed one. We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to share a little hope.
