I'm seeing some Patriots fans say Drake Maye is on fraud watch and I disagree. He's playing like shit. Patriots are three games in. That's that imo. Time for tough love from the organization though. Get on his ass. Maye will be fine. He's not a fraud. He's a great player.

Same people who defended Jerod Mayo until it popular to want him gone because he was the “hand picked successor” and a “players coach” are telling us to trust Mike Vrabel even though he was the real schedule merchant last year. It’s still too early to call for any firings, but you guys are terrified to criticize the coaching staff and find it easier to blame Maye because he has the easy stats to point at. But go on and tell me more about the Super Bowl and Coach of the Year awards

Drake Maye is the kind of guy who believes in the best in people, especially those close to him. I believe the Vrabel Russini drama really hurt his trust in his Head Coach, which is honestly an okay thing. That trust CAN be rebuilt. This isn't set in stone. But it's clear to anyone paying attention that something is off between the staff and players right now.
