It's gonna rain rain tomorrow night for @CUBuffsFootball. 80-90% rain chances, heaviest in the 2nd half. Full-on downpours possible as well.

“You didn’t think it was suspicious when a guy named SIDDARTH JAWAHAR asked for the $15,000,000 to be in Amazon gift cards?!?!?!”
BREAKING: Travis Kelce has been named as a victim in a massive Ponzi scheme that pulled in more than $35 million from investors.
Siddharth Jawahar, a 38-year-old illegal immigrant, pleaded guilty to three counts of wire fraud and has now been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $31 million in restitution.
Prosecutors say Jawahar took in more than $35 million but invested only about $10 million, using new investor money to repay earlier clients and fund private jets, luxury hotels, and expensive outings.
Kelce’s individual losses have not been publicly disclosed as this time, @Max_Gorden reports.

Takeaways from #Broncos' loss to the Chiefs:
• Outcoached and outclassed. Badly. Pathetically. The Chiefs wanted this one MUCH more than Denver did. The Broncos were sleepwalking compared to the home team. Shocking and pitiful, even for Week 1 standards.
• No way to spin it: Bo Nix wasn't good tonight. The offensive line wasn't good tonight. The playcalling wasn't good tonight. Nothing, really, was good tonight.
• The Davis Webb-as-OC experiment still has a LONG way to go and many issues to work out. I scratched my head tonight way more than I thought I would.
• Speaking of, it was apparent they were trying to air it out with Nix and felt like they were trying to prove something. What's the point of bringing back Dobbins and drafting Coleman if you're not gonna run the ball?
• Also, trading a first-round pick (and more) for Jaylen Waddle only to barely get him the ball? Hi-larious.
• Nix appeared a little erratic and bailed from the pocket too soon at times. But the amount of pressure in his face all night was ridiculous. What happened to the "best O-line in the NFL"?
• The sheer amount of missed tackles was astonishing. I can't remember seeing a defense play so consistently sloppy — from the opening whistle to the final seconds. That's a coaching issue that falls directly at the feet of Vance Joseph.
• As I tweeted earlier, this is right up there with 70-20 in terms of pure, fundamentally BAD defensive football. Like, breathtakingly bad.
• Alex Singleton is who some of us thought he was. I respect his story, his journey — I DETEST his play. The day the Broncos find an upgrade at ILB legitimately cannot come soon enough.
• It could be time to have a conversation about Jahdae Barron...
• This was a major reality check and a big slice of humble pie for Sean Payton and the Broncos. How they respond next week will tell us a lot about the 2026 team.

“Godfather” of AI @Yoshua_Bengio says take those AI warnings seriously:
“If we build entities that are smarter than us and that we don't control, they could harm us. And if they're smart enough, they could potentially get rid of humanity if that's in their interest. And what we're seeing now is that they have a kind of self-interest that isn't aligned with our own objectives, our own instructions.”

Entitled, overconfident, soft, disjointed team. Broncos look like they spent the entire offseason congratulating themselves on 2025 instead of getting ready for '26.

I feel like not enough people are talking about the Chiefs ties to terrorism. They once pulled out AK-47s and started indiscriminately firing them into the air, and nobody said a word.

KANSAS CITY. We need to talk.
Have you ever visited Kansas City? It's terrible. Combine the fake niceness of the midwest with the industrial air pollution of the rust belt and the constant risk of congenital heart failure of the deep south and that's Kansas City in a nutshell.
BUT NO, instead of doing the humane thing and wiping Kansas City off the map or turning it into a leper colony, the Powers That Be made TWO of these godforsaken places separated by a state line and a repulsive river. I mean I'll say this, at least the problem is CONTAINED in a geographically distinct area.
When you get off the plane and inhale deeply and get a snout full of burned fat that these people call BBQ, you know you've arrived in America's answer to hell. I like that.
Who would want to live in this place? No one. I mean NO ONE. When Kelce and Swift did their little Forrest and Jenny routine and said their fake vows (in NYC) they immediately bought a house in Cleveland. You hear that, Kansas City? CLEVELAND. Taylor took one look at the real estate offerings of Missouri's 57th best city and said "Hey hon this is great and all but how about we live in Ohio?"
Patrick Mahomes chooses to spend the summer in Texas, which is so hot one time I burned the inside of my mouth by breathing the air. But hey, at least it's not Kansas City.
Speaking of abandoning Kansas City, you know who else is doing that? The Chiefs! They unceremonially fled Missouri like so many of that state's unwed fathers before them and moved across the river to KANSAS Kansas. Rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic sure, but I assume that this is just the first step and my 2035 they'll be playing in Sacramento.
Andy Reid - a Kansas City 9 - oversees a group of past, present, and future criminals that they're trying to pass off as an NFL team. To save time, they should just imprison every new Chiefs player the moment they are drafted. It's a public safety issue at this point.
Ok ok. That's enough smack talk. Good luck to you on your season opener tonight. I sure hope that Mahomes didn't rush his ACL recovery process! Don't even worry about it! He'll be fine! Nik Bonitto would never intentionally accidentally tackle him low. You can trust us. We're rooting for you, Patty! You and your homeless alcoholic father.
