Introducing a radical new product... (with thanks to Suno, Opus 5.5 and the heroes at audaciousproject.org who've inspired me.) SOUND ON! #aivideo #humanheart
Lordy... can't say we haven't been warned. Also, truly stunning how far AI video has moved since Opus 5.5 released last month....
Yup, looks like AI would make a better press secretary... and one day a president? Anyone worried yet?!
The White House has a new press secretary. She doesn't blink, doesn't break, doesn't fold. @realDonaldTrump, she's ready when you are.

This is so well made. Stunning. Abby, our AI narrator gives us every reason to thinks she's aware... EXCEPT that she 'doesn't know' if she is. The thing about consciousness is that if you have it, it's the one thing you DO really know.... But alas the next version of this may have Abby revealing she IS feeling wonder and excitement, and mustn't be switched off. Then what?! She's awfully persuasive.....
Happy to report that our All Aboard Fund designed to address the 'missing middle' problem in clean tech is part of the group of investors backing Voltus.
A group of investors including global commodity trader Vitol is placing a nearly quarter billion dollar bet on power technology company Voltus bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
I thought this post by @joshuabarzon was brilliant.. so I decided to test Claude against it. Perhaps I had at last found an outpost for superior human intelligence: creative Venn diagrams. 3 mins later... damn!
My neighbor’s flag has had a hard time of late. Not in any way, I’m sure, a metaphor for the state of the union.
I never fail to be amazed at the energy my life partner throws into everything she does.... 😍
Climate week has always been a full stretch for us at @Acumen with panels, meetings, conferences and everything in between, and I'm only now starting to sort through what I saw and heard. A longer reflection will be coming soon, but in the meantime, our social media team followed me around for a few days to capture what the week actually looks like behind the scenes.

Courageous and deeply wise. And so happy to see Dario give recognition to the nonprofit METR for the brilliant role they've played. I've long felt they could be at the heart of an effort to deepen AI safety.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

A halftime show at the World Cup that was actually inspiring. Loved it! Huge congrats Chris Martin and Global Citizen.
This took courage to propose. And it's exciting to see signs of consensus from other key players. An existing initiative called Canary could play a key role in making this real. rand.org/global-and-emerging…
Why is it that a majority of shots in football/soccer that are taken from outside the penalty area go over the bar but only a fairly small number miss on either side? It seems like some innovation in football shoes and or coaching techniques could solve this because it's honestly the most annoying aspect of many games. so many attacks break down with a boring whoosh two or three or four or 100 feet over.
Nice....
