🚨 TRADER ALERT: Don't Sell Naked Calls Into This Selloff — The Next Market Bounce Could Be Painful!
A word of caution: Please be extremely careful selling naked calls in this market.
After a sharp selloff, the temptation to collect premium by selling calls can be strong. But remember, markets can reverse violently, and a sudden rally can turn those short calls into significant losses very quickly.
Naked calls carry theoretically unlimited upside risk, and a sharp rebound can hurt far more than you expect.
If you want bearish exposure, consider defined-risk alternatives such as call credit spreads.
Don't chase the downside and get caught on the wrong side of the bounce!
Protect your capital, manage your risk, and stay disciplined.

For Grow Your Pile, I would summarize the lesson this way:
The biggest risk in the AI boom may not be that artificial intelligence fails. It may be that everyone spends too much money building the infrastructure before the industry can generate enough profits to justify it.
Imagine opening a restaurant.
Your restaurant currently generates $1 million in annual sales.
Business is growing rapidly, so you sign agreements to rent kitchens, equipment and facilities that could cost you $12 million over the coming years.
You're assuming future sales will increase enough to justify those commitments.
That might work beautifully if the restaurant keeps growing.
But what happens if growth slows?
You still have expensive commitments to honor.
AI can become an incredibly successful technology while the companies financing its infrastructure still suffer enormous financial losses.
The problem isn't necessarily that AI won't succeed. Burry believes the real danger is that companies are making enormous financial commitments based on expectations of future growth that may not materialize quickly enough.
Michael Burry believes the AI boom is creating an enormous, interconnected financial system in which the same companies are investing in one another, lending one another money, buying services from one another, and reporting the resulting transactions as business growth.
