Yeah, I’d be very surprised. They don’t usually develop them until the source devices are ready to develop around and that’s GPU dependent. Was the same for HDMI 2.1 and DP 2.1 as well

Ah, makes total sense! Given that HDMI Licensing mentioned 2027 for the first incoming devices at Computex, I was wondering if monitors might catch that wave early or if it will strictly follow the usual TV-first rollout timeline you mentioned. Thanks

Not at this stage. My view is that we won’t see them for quite a while. Usually it goes TVs > consoles > long wait then GPUs > monitors. The other consideration here though is whether it’s needed or not. HDMI 2.1 with DSC can support a hell of a lot already

No this 320Hz panel doesn’t have RGB stripe I’m afraid. Those are due in 2027 and will have a 400Hz refresh rate.

Is it going to have RGB subpixel layout? Also, calling OLED flicker free, with those omnipresent VRR flicker issues is scummy behavior on manufacturer and testing lab part.
