The first Game 7 in #WNBAFinals history. The Golden State Valkyries are chasing a title in just its second season. The Atlanta Dream are seeking its first after nearly two decades. Two franchises, a historic stage. I’m excited for this game!! #AllForAtlanta #ThisIsBallhalla 🏀

We talk about how much winning matters in the #NBA & yet some fans dismiss the #NBACup because it isn’t the Finals. Not every trophy needs to carry the same weight to have value. Why can’t we appreciate teams competing for something?

What’s one widely accepted #NBA narrative that you think people have completely wrong? Could be about a player, team, coach, or the way the game is covered. What’s something you believe the basketball world needs to reconsider?

For decades .@TurnerSportsEJ has been the heartbeat of #InsideTheNBA . His humor, humility & leadership helped shape generations of #NBA coverage. He didn’t just tell the NBA’s story. He became part of it. Thank you Ernie for everything you’ve given the game. 🏀🫡

😂 And that’s fair. The reactions, debates, and overreactions are part of what makes sports fun. I’m not saying we should take that away. I just think there’s a difference between having fun with an opinion and treating every reaction like it’s a definitive conclusion.

I think we’ve gotten too comfortable making definitive statements about #NBA teams after a handful of games. It’s fine to be impressed. It’s fine to be concerned. But there’s a difference between recognizing what we’re seeing & deciding we already know how the story ends.

The #WNBA deserves better than having a potentially championship-deciding Finals game at 12:30 PM ET on a Thursday. I understand the logistical challenges, but these moments must be prioritized. Championship moments should be showcased, not squeezed into the schedule.

#NBA fans need to stop treating a bad start like a lost season. It’s 82 games, not 8. Chemistry takes time. Rotations evolve. Teams find their identity. Criticism is fair. Frustration is understandable. But there’s a difference between holding a team accountable & writing it off.

The Sonics left Seattle in 2008. Vegas & Mexico City offer potential.. Seattle offers proof: #NBA history, a 🏆, & generations of loyal fans. Expansion should reward proven demand. The case for Seattle isn’t nostalgia. It’s history, loyalty, & a future worth investing in.

Completely agree. Accessibility has given us more ways to consume entertainment, but I think it’s also taken away some of our ability to simply appreciate it.

The NBA has never had more talent, yet there's a legitimate argument that the product isn't always more entertaining. Talent & entertainment aren't synonymous. A league can be more skilled than ever and still lose some of the elements that made people fall in love with the game.
