I’m pausing my spending on @veefriends.
I still believe 100% in the brand, @garyvee, and this unbelievable community. But right now, I can’t support the releases when statistical anomalies like this keep happening.
Black Gold coins are stated at 1:10. In my sealed 100-pack case, I pulled exactly ONE.
At those stated odds, you’d expect ~10. Under simple random distribution, getting 1 or fewer out of 100 is roughly a 1 in 3,100 outcome.
I love the coins, but results like this make me concerned that steps are being missed somewhere in the collation process. I’ve also heard from collectors who opened cases containing zero Black Golds.
Random is the random. Outliers happen. But when outcomes this extreme start appearing consistently, I think it deserves a serious look.
Hoping the team investigates and gets to the bottom of it going forward.
