To our sponsors led by @stanbicug, runners, the media, and all government agencies: thank you. Your commitment turned a vision into a national event.
In a special way, I thank Uganda @PoliceUg , and particularly Directorates of Traffic, and Operations. The deployment along the entire Northern Bypass was exemplary.
On 4 October 2026, history was written. A road was closed so that runners could run to save a mother, while we celebrated our national pride. That is what happens when passionate people of different creeds and colours come together: magic happens.
