BREAKING: Trump punishes Pope Leo for criticizing his Iran War by stripping $11 million from Catholic Charities in Florida that was supposed to help shelter and care for children who enter the country alone. Trump is terrorizing kids in America while killing them overseas... “The U.S. government has abruptly decided to end more than 60 years of relationship with Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of Miami,” said Archbishop Thomas Wenski. “The Archdiocese of Miami’s services for unaccompanied minors have been recognized for their excellence and have served as a model for other agencies throughout the country.” "Our track record in serving this vulnerable population is unmatched. Yet, the Archdiocese of Miami’s Catholic Charities’ services for unaccompanied minors has been stripped of funding and will be forced to shut down within three months," he added. The Department of Homeland Security, through its Office of Refugee Resettlement, has paid Catholic Charities in Miami for years to help house children who enter the country without accompanying adults. The Miami Herald describes the program as essentially a "federally funded foster care system." Bishop Wenski said that despite there being a recent decrease in unaccompanied minors “it is baffling that the U.S. government would shut down a program that it would be hard-pressed to replicate at the level of competence." Robert Latham, associate director of the University of Miami Law School’s Children and Youth Law Clinic, said that the gutting of funding and possible need to move the children elsewhere could inflict serious damage on their developing psyches. "It’s incredibly psychologically harmful to be moved,” he said. “For little kids, moving repeatedly creates bonding issues and destroys the sense of both self and community. They don’t know who they are and where they will be." “This should only be done with a lot of emotional support that you normally would find within a family. Unfortunately, that is not there in a group home setting,” Latham added. Of course, Donald Trump couldn't care less about the suffering of children. This man was friends with Jeffrey Epstein for years and been accused of sexual abuse himself. He started his Iran War by blowing up a school full of little girls and his administration has worked around the clock to strip funding from programs that feed, educate, and house children. "And it speaks to the fact that these people, these extremists, they could care less about the health, the safety, and the economic wellbeing of the American people," he continued. "They could care less! They're on vacation right now. I'm here in Washington D.C., ready, willing, and able to sit down with any of them, anytime, any place. "We were ready to go to the White House and have this discussion. In front of the American people, Donald Trump backed out," said Jeffries. "Why did Donald Trump back out? Because their position is indefensible! And they know Democrats are standing on the side of the healthcare of the American people." Jeffries told reporters on Wednesday that Trump must agree to address health care for the American people and it has to be "ironclad and in legislation” if he wants Democratic help to avoid a shutdown. Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer are specifically committed to addressing crucial insurance subsidies used by over 20 million Americans that are slated to expire at the end of 2025. Earlier this week, Trump chickened out of a meeting with Democratic leadership and claimed that their demands were "unserious and ridiculous." Rather than discuss their actual asks, he accused them of wanting "free healthcare for Illegal Aliens," open borders, and “transgender operations for everybody.” If Trump won’t even acknowledge Democrats’ actual demands (which are about helping Americans with healthcare) then negotiations are impossible. Trump was "ever-present in those conversations and in those months." "I knew at that point how close they were, what good friends they were,” Williams said of Epstein's suggestion that they visit Trump's office. "That wasn’t the first time I’m hearing about the degree of their connection where it’s normal or comfortable to just stop by his office in the middle of the day. So I said, oh, all right. OK, let’s stop by." Williams stated that she froze up after Trump began groping her, shocked that he would do it so aggressively and in plain sight of Epstein. "I was just confused because they were continuing to talk, as if nothing’s happening,” she said. “You know, everything Donald does is hidden in its brazenness. You just do it right out there and everyone goes ‘Well, that can’t be happening because it’s totally wrong and he’s doing it right in front of everyone, so therefore it can’t be happening.’ I mean that’s what went through my head at that point. It was just utter confusion." "For me to freeze, you know how masterful he is, in a way, to pull that off," she added, explaining that she had a reputation at the time for being a "bit of a street fighter" who able to stand up as a successful model to predatory photographers. Epstein saw her as "an ornament" that "fight backs" and he wanted to "test" it. Williams says that later that year, Trump sent her a postcard of Mar-a-Lago with a message in black Sharpie: "Stacey—your home away from home. Love, Donald." These horrifying allegations indicate that Trump and Epstein saw their sexual predations as a form of competition or game between themselves. Williams' story casts new light on accusations made by Epstein accuser Maria farmer. Farmer spoke to the FBI in 1996 and a decade later about an incident in 1995 when she was preparing to work for Epstein. "She said she told the authorities that late one night, Mr. Epstein unexpectedly called her to his offices in a luxury building in Manhattan, and she arrived in running shorts," reported the New York Times. "Mr. Trump then arrived, wearing a business suit, and started to hover over her, she said she told the authorities." She felt "scared" as "Trump stared at her bare legs." Epstein then entered the room and said to Trump: "No, no. She’s not here for you." Epstein and Trump then left, and she heard Trump say that he thought she was sixteen years old. Clearly, Epstein and Trump were used to assaulting women in front of each other. The statement comes as Trump is desperately attempting to fabricate absurd “treason” allegations against Obama. Earlier today, he accused the former president of being the "ringleader" of a criminal plot to "rig an election" and "lead a coup." He also accused Obama of being "sedatious," which was presumably a mispronunciation of "seditious." Last week Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released declassified materials that she allged prove that Obama and top aides "manufactured and politicized intelligence" connected to Russian efforts to undermine the 2016 election in order "to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump." Predictably, there was no substance to the accusations and no evidence of wrongdoing on Obama’s part in the documents.
