just got a new monitor and some of my first games on @avatar_fighters got me questioning why are some of these moves plus on block? Zhao has nothing compared to the roster "but but boost" yea he has to actually use meter other chars only ever hit unbalanced due to people hitting them

zhao will be good once people have to play rps with him when he gets two bars and has you under oki/pressure rn people can just be asleep and mash this match would be how games would go if zhao got his exgrab buffed and he reads you properly you could give it complete armor (no low vuln) air armor for one tick and throw invul frame 1-~ not just for active frames you could give ex grab all of this and still everyone in the roster would have multiple counters jump, stay grounded, dp or “pseudo dp”(roll etc)

why does zhao not have throw invuln on atleast the EX grab he is the GRAPPLER SUPPORT you give zhao this and real armor that cant just be mashed low on he will be a real threat when he has bar you will finally be forced to respect the grapplers grab it wouldn't be broken you could jump or stay grounded if they go for jump or grounded reads and if you have a DP (meterless or not) or pseudo DP such as zaheer roll etc that's rock paper scissors something zhao doesnt really have #avatarlegends @avatar_fighters
