When other energy-rich nations are supporting their citizens and investing in their public services, why should Scotland put up with soaring energy bills and a £650 million cut from Westminster?
The only way to reach our full potential is with the full powers of independence.

Look at the energy sector if you really want to understand how Scotland can never succeed as part of the UK. Biggest offshore wind potential in Europe but we don't manufacture wind turbines. The only "advanced" European economy that doesn't manufacture core hydrogen technology.

"The Brexit vote should be respected" say English Tory representing a remain voting constituency in Scotland.
The issue is the vote WASN'T respected in Scotland. BBC Reporting Scotland's Andrew Kerr had a problem with this. And WHY was it a UK-wide vote? The 2nd pic here is why

Peter, you have repeatedly lied about Irish sentiment and involvement in WW2 to suit your entirely transparent agenda.
Suggesting de Valera tried to ‘inflate’ the numbers joining the UK is hysterically inaccurate.
He was at pains to downplay Irish aid, pulling the wool over the Germans eyes and Republicans in his own country who did not want Ireland supporting Britain given its ongoing occupation of the north.
About 70k Irish went to British armed forces.
190k work visas were issued.
About 260k total, 9% of the Irish population.
That is direct contribution via migration which was facilitated by the Irish government (many neutrals banned enlistment or travel to belligerents)
Another 250k odd were involved in defence at home, ready to fight beside the British after secret joint defence plans were made to counter a German invasion.
Ireland had approached Britain in secret in 1938 to kick off this secret cooperation, which was so extensive MI5 said ‘Ireland was of more use neutral’ ⬇️
Zero went to Germany. Not one. More British volunteered for the Nazis than Irish - fact
The Irish won military medals at a much higher rate than other nationalities, a centuries old reality
Your lie about those enlisting suffering mistreatment is complete debunked - Bernard Kelly’s academic work showed that wasn’t the case ⬇️
And the declassified file at this link shows the birth of that calumny -

You call the ‘vast majority of Irelands population duplicitous cowards’? Despite the facts of Allied only support and enlistment?
Your agenda and bigotry are transparent Peter.
Shameful, sad and transparent

England/Britain never had any right to be in Ireland & will never have any right to be in Ireland: nitter.cf/itsjohncrotty/status/2… This Scot supports the re-unification of Ireland.
Eamon de Valera, in a response to Winston Churchills disgraceful slander against Ireland at wars end in 1945, posed a powerful hypothetical question
Despite 9% of Irelands population going to the UK war effort, 0 to Germany, and enormous Irish efforts to aid the allies, Churchill falsely accused Ireland of ‘frolicking with the Germans’ at war end
This was a lie. This didn’t happen.
Churchill knew this. He had an agenda.
He had told an American luncheon in 1943, he saw ‘little but an ineffective and inglorious role for Mr. De Valera”.
He took his shot at wars end, his intention to diminish Irish aims at ending the undemocratic partition of Ireland.
This slander outraged the hundred of thousands of Irish in Britains armies, factories and fields
On the point of Irish neutrality, which was no different to American, Belgian, Danish or any other neutrality, de Valera posed a question.
He invoked the extraordinary, exceptional circumstances that led to Irish neutrality.
The history of Britain in Ireland.
The ongoing occupation of the six counties of the north of Ireland, which finally may end soon.
These are his words…

Working collaboratively will not work. This is a sham.
The primary goal of the Anglo-British state and successive governments is to maintain its hold on #Scotland as colony & continue to extract and exploit our territorial resources for the benefit of England and its elite.
