The Spectrum Strategy and Coordination Committee held its first meeting following its reconstitution, chaired by H.E. Eng. Mona Al Hashemi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).

عقدت لجنة استراتيجية وتنسيق الطيف الترددي اجتماعها الأول برئاسة سعادة المهندسة منى الهاشمي رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات، وذلك بحضور أعضاء اللجنة المُعاد تشكيلها بموجب قرار مجلس الوزراء رقم (44) لسنة 2026

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Bahrain participated in the 57th Annual Conference of the International Institute of Communications (IIC), held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

في إطار حرصها المستمر على تعزيز التعاون الدولي وتبادل الخبرات ومواكبة أحدث التوجهات والتطورات في قطاع الاتصالات، شاركت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات في مملكة البحرين في المؤتمر السنوي السابع والخمسين للمعهد الدولي للاتصالات (IIC)، الذي عُقد في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain held a bilateral meeting with Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) during its official visit to the Republic of Singapore.

في إطار زيارتها الرسمية إلى جمهورية سنغافورة، اجتمعت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات بمملكة البحرين مع هيئة تطوير الإعلام والاتصالات المعلوماتية (IMDA) في سنغافورة.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Bahrain participated in the 6G MENA Summit, represented by Eng. Hasan Mohamed, Director of Spectrum, in a panel discussion on regional spectrum coordination and preparations for WRC-27.

شاركت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات في مملكة البحرين في جلسة حوارية حول التنسيق الإقليمي للطيف الترددي والاستعدادات للمؤتمر العالمي للاتصالات الراديوية (WRC-27) وذلك خلال قمة الجيل السادس لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) Bahrain, represented by General Director Mr. Philip Marnick, participated in a session titled “Turning 6G Ambition into Action: A Regional Readiness Check” at the 6G MENA Summit, held in Abu Dhabi.

شاركت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات في مملكة البحرين، ممثلةً بالمدير العام السيد فيليب مارنيك، في جلسة حوارية بعنوان «تحويل طموحات الجيل السادس إلى واقع: تقييم الجاهزية الإقليمية»، وذلك ضمن قمة الجيل السادس لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، التي عُقدت في أبوظبي.

The (TRA) of Bahrain conducted the Telecom Cyber Drills 2026 for telecommunications sector licensees and extended participation to other relevant stakeholders to encourage collaboration, share knowledge, and ensure that all participants benefit from the exercise.

ضمن جهودها الرامية إلى تعزيز الجاهزية الرقمية وتبادل المعرفة والخبرات، نظّمت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات تمارين الأمن السيبراني لقطاع الاتصالات لعام 2026، بمشاركة شركات قطاع الاتصالات والجهات المعنية.

Philip Marnick, General Director of the (TRA), participated in the Global Space and Sustainability Events forum in Riyadh, co-organised by Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

شارك السيد فيليب مارنيك، المدير العام لهيئة تنظيم الاتصالات، في منتدى الفضاء والاستدامة العالمي الذي عُقد في الرياض، بتنظيم مشترك بين هيئة الاتصالات والفضاء والتقنية في المملكة العربية السعودية والاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات.

The Board of Directors of the TRA held its inaugural meeting under its new formation, chaired by H.E. Eng. Muna Ali Al-Hashimi. The Board discussed key topics related to the telecommunications sector and reviewed future directions

عقد مجلس إدارة هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات اجتماعه الأول بتشكيله الجديد، برئاسة سعادة المهندسة منى علي الهاشمي، حيث ناقش أبرز الموضوعات ذات الصلة بقطاع الاتصالات واستعرض التوجهات المستقبلية والاستراتيجيات الرامية إلى مواصلة تطوير القطاع في مملكة البحرين.

TRA has concluded its 2026 Summer Internship Programme, providing students with hands-on experience in telecommunications regulation and the digital sector.

اختتمت هيئة تنظيم الاتصالات برنامجها التدريبي الصيفي لعام 2026، والذي أتاح للطلبة فرصة اكتساب خبرة عملية في مجال تنظيم قطاع الاتصالات والقطاع الرقمي. ومن خلال المشاركة في مشاريع عملية والتوجيه من فريق الهيئة، اكتسب المتدربون مهارات وخبرات قيّمة تسهم في دعم مسيرتهم المهنية.

Philip Marnick, General Director of TRA, participated in the Digital Continuity Forum, marking the launch of the GCC Network Resilience Joint Initiative. TRA’s participation reinforces Bahrain’s commitment to regional cooperation and resilient digital infrastructure.
