I lost a friend last Friday. 43 years old. Pinnacle of health. Dropped dead while making breakfast at 7:30am at his girlfriends house in Houston.
I met him 3 years ago, he started dating one of my wife’s friends and needed a job in Texas as he was from Georgia and didn’t want long distance.
Like all good friends, I sent him out west to Midland, jokes on him right.
He was a fighter jet technician in the airforce and a firefighter.
I recommended him to my vendors that were in need of help. It’s hard to find truly solid help. I have heard many people say “never recommend a friend for a job, it will bite you in the ass”. I have built my career over the last 25 years working with friends, it’s way more fun to work with people you love. I grab them and take them wherever I drill. They perform wonders because we don’t let each other down.
Over the last three years I saw him grow and move up the food chain, he was a hell of a hand for the people he worked for and did me solid on all my pads. He never let me down.
I will miss him.
Rest in peace Jeremy Morgan. They broke the mold after you brother.

Hey @Ford, I was at the Conroe Ford dealer today for a routine service / bending over.
I am missing this part (N807673). It attaches the tailgate plastic molding cap to the tailgate. If you use your truck like a truck you will lose these pulling items in and out of the truck bed.
I went to the parts desk, I can’t buy this retaining clip on its own, to purchase it you have to buy the full tailgate plastic molding, which, if you have the tailgate step, is a hair over $300.
This is why people hate car manufacturers more and more these days.
Anyway. I found a 10 pack of fasterners from China for $7.99 on amazon.
