It’s already Britain’s biggest carbon emitting power station burning 7.5 MILLION tonnes of wood) (much of it imported on diesel powered ships) and emits about 14.1 MILLION tonnes of CO₂e
AND we gave them nearly £1 BILLION in subsidies to do it!
Now they want to burn another 4.9 MILLION tonnes of wood (nearly twice as much as Gatwick airports flights a year)
You genuinely couldn’t design a more absurd “Net Zero” business model.
