Just 13 years of dedication to a company and its customers and then one day they fired her for “performance issues” She knew the regulars. She watched families come back year after year. Her staff loved her, customers loved her, and somewhere along the way she helped turn that Pizza Hut into more than a restaurant. It became a little piece of the community. It was a place where birthdays were celebrated, kids grew up, employees became friends and customers walked through the door knowing there would be a familiar face waiting for them. There may always be another side to this story, but I’m guessing she was simply “too old”
