Tracy joined us on 1 October, the week the Cableway marked 97 years. In this message, she reflects on the anniversary, the team and the summer season ahead. "Starting in the month the Cableway marked 97 years has been a wonderful way to learn what this mountain means to people.
I have spent the month with the teams who run the Cableway, those who feed and welcome our visitors, and the South Africans who shared their memories of the mountain with us. Table Mountain belongs to all of us. Our job is to look after it and share it. As the summer season

From 1 to 31 October, South Africans can ride to the top of Table Mountain for R265 per adult and R135 per child, return. Tickets are sold online only and must be bought before the day of your visit. Bring your valid South African ID with you on the day.
