We're donating Agent Skills to the Agentic AI Foundation (@AgenticAIFdn), the same foundation we donated MCP to.
Since December 2025, 70+ agent platforms have integrated the standard, including ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and VS Code.
Here's what that means for you:
Claude Duet is an early research preview, available through a waitlist on Pro and Max plans in the US. It can still misjudge what’s urgent, and we’ll keep tuning it based on what early users tell us.

Claude Duet draws on years of our safety and security work on agents. It never directly sees your passwords, a new classifier guards against sharing sensitive information, and the important decisions stay with you.
We’ll share more on our approach to safety in Claude Duet soon.
We designed Claude Duet around Claude Opus 5.5, which gives it the judgment to decide what needs you, what can wait, and when to check with you first. It carries over the memory, skills, and connected apps from your Claude account, so there’s little to set up.
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

If you're into research previews, we're opening up a waitlist for Claude Duet, our take on a lightweight proactive agent.
The form factor will seem pretty familiar, lots of agents out there - but Duet is made for work, excellent judgement, and making sure it doesn't do things you didn't want.

Claude just killed ChatGPT Dots...
> included with Claude Pro (Dots needs $100/mo ChatGPT Pro)
> built on Opus 5.5 aka the best model in the world
> has its own VM and browser
> access to over 6,000 connectors (Dots: 4,000)
> works while your laptop is off
> sends you a morning brief of what needs attention
> one ongoing chat, assign jobs by text or voice
> already knows your Claude memory, skills and apps
> chases unpaid invoices, runs payroll, sends contracts for signature
> buys things with virtual cards that hide your real card number
> asks before it sends, pays, signs or deletes anything
> never sees your passwords
> iOS, Android and web
Claude finally has it's own personal agent.
crazy to think OpenClaw started all this.

Claude Duet, Anthropic’s 24/7 personal agent, is finally here.
I had early access and here’s my new video with my honest take on:
→ Why I think it's the most proactive agent
→ Why Artifacts could be its secret sauce
→ How it stacks up to Grok Bot, Muse, and Dots
Duet is in research preview and I’m sure will improve a lot over time.

👋🏼 Overdue update: I joined @AnthropicAI, and excited to finally share what my team and I have been building.
Introducing Claude Duet, a new app in research preview where Claude works as your proactive agent. It runs on Opus 5.5, and we built it to be a partner you can trust.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, works across 6,000+ connectors and plugins, keeps going when you step away, and checks with you before it acts.
We built it for professionals and small business owners juggling a lot at work and at home. Early testers are using it to help run their businesses, take on bigger projects at work, and get time back to be more present.
I've been using Claude Duet to build Claude Duet, and it's been the most joyful and meaningful experience of my career.
I’ll be sharing regular updates here on how we’re building it, plus new features and improvements as they ship. Follow along.

Grok Bot runs on Opus 5.5, and Claude Duet runs on Opus 5.5.
So we literally have two competing products powered by the EXACT SAME MODEL...
It's Anthropic competing against Anthropic itself, using SpaceXSI's compute, while also taking on OpenAI.
This industry is absolutely insane.

Babe, wake up.
Anthropic just launched its Grok Bot, Dots and Muse killer:
> Claude Duet
It's much like the other proactive personal agents, but built on Opus 5.5. That is a *BIG* differentiator.
The announcement we've been waiting for... Anthropic is about to drop their personal agent Duet (love the name)
A direct competitor to Dots, Grok Bot, Hark, and Muse
All powered by what I believe to be the best model on earth right now Opus 5.5
This is the one I'm anticipating the most. Claude more than any other AI has felt the BEST to talk to
It feels truly human and collaborative
This has been what's dearly missing from this new class of agent harnesses. None of them feel truly HUMAN
I have no doubt this will be the warmest, most fun personal agent to use
I truly believe this personal agent harness race is the most important race of them all. More important than the model race
People are giving their personal agents access to EVERYTHING
Their emails, calendars, text messages, finances, EVERYTHING
This is unbelievably valuable data people are now willing to give away to any company that makes helpful assistants
The winner of this harness race will have access to incredibly valuable data it can then use to train even better models
Anthropic is officially coming for the crown

Fable 5.5 is coming today, as per sources.
Anthropic is reportedly about to launch Claude Fable 5.5, the follow up to Fable 5.1.
- It's said to be better at reasoning and intuition than current Claude models
- The focus is on understanding users more naturally, even when they don't explain everything perfectly
- Basically, you won't need long, detailed prompts. Even half-baked ones should be enough for it to figure out your intent
The signs have been here for all to see:
- On Oct 13, claude-fable-5-5 appeared in Azure's model catalog marked "Generally Available"
- Partners reportedly already have access
- New codenames "Onigiri" and "Verrine" surfaced in the Devin CLI
- Both previous Fable launches dropped on a Tuesday.
Today is Tuesday
It would also complete the 5.5 lineup after Opus, Sonnet and Haiku.
This direction isn't new either. Anthropic's Fable 5 prompting guide already says a short statement of intent can steer most of the model's behavior, and that overly detailed old-style prompts can hurt output.
I think we're moving into a phase where prompt engineering matters less for everyday tasks. You just describe what you want and the model figures out the rest.
The first Titan model is getting closer
