@muneeb who has been building on Bitcoin since 2013 and co-founded Stacks is stepping in as CEO of Stacks Labs, effective October 15.
He's been here before; he led Stacks Labs in its early years before stepping back.
Now he's returning at a very different moment, not to build the foundation from scratch, but to scale what has already been built.
Bitcoin staking is live, Institutions are participating โ Anchorage, Fireblocks, 21Shares, HashKey, UTXO Management.
A 99% community vote passed the staking upgrades.
The focus is shifting toward growth and adoption.
At Korea Blockchain Week, Muneeb laid out where Stacks goes from here:

โย ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐:ย exploring privacy infrastructure for Bitcoin transactions and smart contracts, so users don't have to expose everything to everyone.
โย ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐-๐พ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐๐บ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป:ย thinking ahead about how Bitcoin infrastructure can remain secure as quantum computing develops.
His words on the mission:
"Scaling adoption, from regional markets to the largest institutions in the world, and bringing Bitcoin staking to every holder of BTC."
Of course, the markets reacted too.
$STX rallied roughly 30% following the announcement and appeared among the top 24-hour gainers on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko.
The next BTC bond round is scheduled for October, with a larger target than the first.
Muneeb is back at Stacks at a point where the conversation has moved from building Bitcoin infrastructure to scaling what people can actually do with Bitcoin.
