i get the anger over not bringing back legacy VAs but i also think that it's good to give new people a shot bc they can be GREAT. zeno robinson gave a frankly incredible performance as junpei in reload. it was robbie-daymond-as-akechi level and we wouldnt have gotten it otherwise

As a VA I love Zeno he plays some of my favorite characters of all time but I just don’t think he’s Junpei. He has a very annoying anime like delivery for a lot of dialogue. Junpei was one of my favorites in FES but I couldn’t stand hearing him in reload.

Its like in FES he was a loser but a genuine dude. In reload I just kept thinking “man this guy is a genuine loser”. I think the emotion scenes are great but that’s because it breaks that cadence. I actually looked at Junpei like a real person.
