Conscious and/or subconscious bias is undermining the integrity of the Premier League.
It has been directly impacting Liverpool’s results for years, including in at least two seasons where Liverpool lost the league by one match week result with a major wrongful decision.
And Paul Tompkins has the data to prove it.

Not a finance expert but surely slide tackling the ball with your head to prevent a goal triggers the option to buy?
Offer Madrid £10m and tell Trent he can personally pay it as reparations if he wants to come back.
9 - Florian Wirtz's nine chances created from open play against Brentford is the most by a player in a Premier League game since Sadio Mané v Burnley in January 2021 (9) and the most by a player in an away game since Samir Nasri v Spurs in August 2011 (10).
Progress.
And the price you see just went up by the equivalent of the card surcharge you will no longer pay.

So whether it’s at the cafe, the supermarket or paying your bills, the price you see will be the price you pay.

Etihad threatening to sue. UAE reportedly intimating that UK investment could be pulled. A Prime Minister couching any criticisism. If this sorry saga doesn't convince you that state ownership of football clubs should never be allowed, nothing ever will.
Wild that LFC have signed Van Dijk’s natural heir for ~30% less than what Man United spent on Harry Maguire 7 years ago

Let’s talk when Iraola does this.
The Liverpool hierarchy sacked Slot & appointed Iraola as they felt they’d assembled top players who were managed poorly.
In these early weeks under Iraola it’s now evident that is not the case.
He’s been left a mish mash of a squad he will need to fix.

🇧🇪 Lucca Brughmans | Club Brugge director delighted with €35m from Liverpool but also surprised
💬 "For it to happen *that* quickly. And for *that* amount… I never saw that coming."
➡️ Liverpool appear to have presented €35m as initial offer and it was accepted, likely could have got Club Brugge down

Meta should really be a landing page wrapper for effectively 3 apps:
• Instagram
• Marketplace
• Groups
That’s it. Everything else is a canvas for advertising and nothing more
Facebook is so slow to die. It's incredible. Everyone knows it's a graveyard of a social network. No new users are joining. Young people don't consider it cool anymore. And not just young people. My feed is dead. No person I know shares anything I care about.
Yet, somehow Meta is still big. I know there's WhatsApp and Instagram that are still alive, but Facebook is a defining brand for Meta, and it's a graveyard and a content farm no different from Quora that Google still loves so much for no obvious reason while blocking all other content farms since the Google Panda update was released in 2011.
Something is fishy here. MySpace died quickly when it's become uncool. Why Facebook doesn't die as quickly?

Atletico’s unexpected shape caught Liverpool cold. Iraola admitted ✅ the initial plan was his fault, corrected it ✅ during the game and Liverpool came back to win✅. He got it wrong, fixed it and owned it.
Finally, something positive to write about Liverpool this season.

🇫🇷 Jeremy Jacquet by the way misplaced just one pass tonight (46/47).
He completed 5/5 long balls and made the joint most passes into the final third (9) for #LFC.
6 recoveries, 2 interceptions and 2 clearances, too.
