I have bone broth that’s been on the stove for 24 hours. This broth will cure generational trauma and possibly unlock your ancestors memories from the 1800s.
The more resistance we hold in our minds, the more tension we tend to carry in our bodies.
Unprocessed emotions, constant control, fear, resentment, the things we refuse to feel or let go of. The body has a way of reflecting what the mind is holding onto.
Prioritize more softening, more releasing, more learning to let go. Less resisting.
Before pharma, there was food. Minerals. Herbs. Plants. Hands-on healing. Acupuncture. Breathwork. Generations of knowledge about working with the body rather than always trying to override it.
Western medicine made advancements, absolutely. But newer doesn’t automatically mean better, and modern doesn’t make traditional practices obsolete.
Just because we’ve developed new tools doesn’t mean the old ones stopped working.
I am once again meal prepping vanilla bean custard with a 100 year old traditional maple custard recipe!
Normalizing meal prepping CUSTARD.
So nutrient dense and so delicious. Great for breakfast, or dessert!
Recipe:
- 8 cups milk
- 12 whole eggs
- 12 egg yolks
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp salt
- freshly ground nutmeg to taste
- 1tbs bloomed gelatin
Bake in a water bath for 40 minutes at 325 degrees.
I see this SO often in the birth space. Women asking for permission to trust their own bodies, instincts, and decisions about their own births. We’ve become so conditioned to believe someone else knows better than we do, even when it comes to our own bodies. Reclaiming birth sovereignty starts with reclaiming self-trust.
When I am getting questions like: "is taking a bath okay?" I am reminded that one of the most overlooked pieces of health is self-agency. We’ve handed over our authority to Big Food, Big Pharma, and now even health gurus like myself. It shows up in the relationships we tolerate, the opportunities we turn down, and how often we look to someone else for permission to make a decision.
At some point, you have to learn to trust yourself again.
The online health space is weird. A month ago we were still obsessed with protein, now we’re obsessed with iron.
Maybe, just maybe, you shouldn’t be obsessing over anything other than prioritizing your own wellness based on your own needs.

Throughout history, heat & saunas were associated with the womb. The ancient Maya built sweat baths symbolizing the body of a goddess. In Lakota tradition, entering the sweat lodge represents returning to the womb of Mother Earth. Fertility is warmth and warmth is fertility.
