It's genuinely so sad that kids dont trick or treat anymore like they used to. No one in my neighborhood even decorates their houses for Halloween or Christmas anymore. I'm only 21 and its just crazy to me that Halloween isnt what it was when I was a kid anymore😢
if you ever have a simple game that is high on top earning, dont be suprised if you see a bunch of people stealing your game using exploits and releasing it. I think i've seen at least 7 games that is just our exact game but they used ai to make all the server sided code and they change up the theme.
And the thing that sucks is that these get hundreds of players and make it so much harder for your game to get on the algorithm because you'll be going against that game for the similar players benchmarks and will kill your game faster. I honestly feel like i've lost so much potential revenue (like at least $40k more overall) because of this exact thing. Also i love how i always see the thumbnail i commisioned for that game on almost every single slop game stolen by ai now...
The people making games like these are all new to roblox development, have no experience, and are doing it purely because they want a get rich scheme like dropshipping. Passionate developers who create fun, high quality projects will outperform these types of games, especially as AI makes it easier for anyone to build a game. The algorithm will change because of that and will promote higher quality games on the platform.

I regret tweeting about my DevEx ban situation because I forgot how negative the Roblox community is here on Twitter. There's clearly a problem with Roblox's automated moderation system and it really needs to be fixed.
I didn't DevEx in May & June so not being able to have any income for 8 months straight from Roblox can greatly impact how my life unfolds for the rest of this year.
I'm sure Roblox Dev Rel can help me get this fixed. If my DevEx ban isn't removed I don't think I'll be attending RDC this year.❤️
