Guys 460B for Nairobi Mombasa expressway is quite a lot of money. For a place already served by SGR and an existing road, isn't it wise to concentrate these efforts on the Nairobi to Malaba route?
Phase 1: Nairobi to Nakuru
Phase 2: Nakuru to Eldoret
Phase 3: Eld to Malaba

Returning to Nairobi after a year and a half, it saddens me to see how much the walking environment has deteriorated: broken pavements, streets without lighting, and overflowing drainage. City residents deserve better.

Two things that the world needs, non-western alternatives for Skylink and non-western alternative for avionics and aircraft engines . . . So three things actually.
The prospect of someone remotely tampering with your avionics while airborne isn't sitting right with me.
Champions @nct_basketball 3 peat!

@edwinsifuna,what's your plans for tomorrow evening? Karibu Kasarani Indoor Arena from 8:30 PM for Game 3 of the Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League finals! @nct_basketball are hunting for a 3-peat (3 consecutive unbeaten seasons) if they take down the @Kenya_Ports Dockers
Nairobi City Thunder @nct_basketball swept @Kenya_Ports Dockers to win their 3rd consecutive @kbf_basketball Championship, completing a remarkable third straight undefeated season. The nations two best basketball teams had Kasarani Indoor Arena near full capacity. Dynasty.
Impressive drunk driving operation across Nairobi last night by @ntsa_kenya. Don’t drink and drive. Meanwhile, @KeNHAKenya has put a fresh coat of road markings along the Expressway, but left motorists on lower Mombasa Road / Uhuru Highway guessing where lanes are.

I have slept over this & have kind of figured out what happened here so that an Ai render was used.
Last year cabinet dissolved LAPSET. This render was done by MoH without institutional knowledge. They used Google Maps without taking into account the classified areas.

He knows it’s the truth, and the truth hurts. Wicknell will die in a plane crash very soon. Save this post.

Jumuiya politicians especially from New Singapore first lost access to Sudanese gold after wins by SAF in Kordofan, then their favourite laundromat seems to have deleted.
The month ending in a quite eventful way.
Ruto announces a fresh water pipeline from River Tana to Lamu to power the upcoming refinery and local supply. @Seid101 @Jasiri_WVR @kinjeketile

Let’s reason together whether PPP can be used to supply fresh water from Tana River at Bura to Lamu port & Oil refinery site.
The distance from Bura - Ijara - Lamu is around 150-180km. Bura is 105m above sea level. Lamu is 5m. This allows a manageable slope of 0.81m/km.
The oil refineries will consume around 400 liters per barrel plus water consumption from the Lamu port, Lamu town and surrounding areas.
👍🏼 Project is technically viable
👍🏼 Water demand exists
👍🏼 Private sector has readily available capital.
PPP can used to supply fresh water to Lamu while ensuring affordability to consumers and bankability to investors

Why do Kenyan contractors love building humongous speed bumps?
There is a KEBS standard for speed bumps KS 774:2000.
Low-speed roads (0–10 km/h: height of 15 cm & a width of 2m.
Higher-speed roads (45–60 km/h): height of 10 cm & a width of 5m.
The width part is always skimped!
Massive fleet movement into Nairobi right now. Air Peace 737 has touched just down at JKIA,with 5 more corporate jets,a Falcon 8X,Challenger 650,Embraer Legacy 600,Gulfstream G450,& Falcon 2000LXS,all stacked en route NBO inside a 4-hour window. Dangote's entourage isn't playing.
Add 3 more Bombardiers to the tally, a Global 5500 in Mombasa, plus a Global Express from Cairo and a Challenger 605 at JKIA pre-midnight. There could be more of those private jets.
@Seid101 now this makes sense, JKIA will be seeing an influx of these jets and such a facility would come in handy. nitter.cf/Seid101/status/2088613…
Is 5 acres enough for the planned KAA's Jet and Hospitality Hub? It's a nice concept anyways. @jasiri @TangoFox_
