🟦 TapeOut Community Foundation | Official Statement Risk Warning: Unauthorized Associations and Misleading BTC Ecosystem Projects We have observed BTC-related projects and accounts, including but not limited to @bitcointapes and @tapebitprotocol, referencing TapeOut technologies, the UCO proposal authored by our founder @BruceBlue, and public technical interactions involving the UniSat founder and others in their promotional activities. Such references may create misleading impressions of endorsement or affiliation. TapeOut Community Foundation (@TapeOutCF) hereby clarifies: 1️⃣ No affiliation or endorsement. These projects have no partnership or affiliation with our Foundation and have received no authorization, investment, or endorsement from us. TapeOut founder @Blonskr has also publicly clarified that BTape is unrelated to TapeOut. 2️⃣ Open technology ≠ commercial endorsement. UCO is an open technical research initiative. Referencing technical proposals or public interactions does not imply official approval, investment, partnership, or support. 3️⃣ Protective action taken. To prevent further misuse of technical research in misleading promotions, our founder @BruceBlue has voluntarily removed the relevant GitHub content and technical posts. 4️⃣ Financial and exit-scam risks. We have not verified these projects' fund custody, financial oversight, independent audits, or operational capabilities. Potential losses, including the risk of misappropriation of funds, cannot be ruled out. 5️⃣ Protect your wallet. We strongly advise community members against participating in unverified fundraising, minting, or token offerings. Never transfer funds, connect wallets, or approve unfamiliar transactions without proper due diligence. This statement applies to ALL projects misleadingly invoking TapeOut, UCO, our Foundation, or associated individuals without authorization—not only the accounts named above. 🟦 TapeOut Community Foundation | Community Charter (Trial V1.0) Following recent concerns over ecosystem projects and fundraising endorsements, we have listened to @Blonskr and community feedback and are formally introducing our Community Charter. The Foundation is an independent, nonprofit-oriented community initiative built by volunteers contributing their time, skills, and resources. Our goal is to protect community trust, not restrict innovation. This Charter applies from the moment of publication. New members become subject to it upon formally accepting their roles. 1️⃣ Build First, Tokenize Later We support @Blonskr's vision: build real products, attract users, and create sustainable value before issuing assets. We welcome responsible Token/NFT innovation and new economic models, but oppose misleading fundraising, undisclosed material risks, and empty promises. Early-stage innovation and public goods also deserve support, even before generating revenue. Innovation matters. Real value matters more. 2️⃣ Independence & No Fundraising Endorsements The Foundation does not endorse third-party fundraising, token sales, or investment returns. Governance Council members, including the initiator, must not promote, repost, solicit, or endorse third-party investment fundraising through official or personal public accounts. This applies across all ecosystems, regardless of holdings, involvement, or compensation. Other working groups retain their professional and commercial freedom but must never use the Foundation's identity or resources to endorse fundraising. Supporting a product is not endorsing its token sale. 3️⃣ Technical Support ≠ Investment Endorsement Likes, comments, technical discussions, product coverage, collaborations, and Foundation grants do not constitute endorsements of current or future assets. Projects must not misuse the Foundation's name, logo, members' identities, or past interactions to imply fundraising approval. Legitimate research and product promotion are welcome. Disguised investment solicitation is not. We support Builders, not asset prices. 4️⃣ Community Unity & Volunteer Freedom All confirmed members share a responsibility to strengthen the TapeOut community. We oppose factional conflicts, malicious personal attacks, and deliberate misinformation. Disagreements should be addressed through facts, evidence, and constructive dialogue. Unity does not mean uniformity. Independent opinions, constructive criticism, and genuine risk disclosures remain welcome. Our six working groups carry responsibilities aligned with their actual roles. We respect volunteers' personal careers and independence. No one is required to become a TapeOut-only account or take on work beyond their voluntary commitments. All members must avoid misusing Foundation resources, disclose material conflicts of interest in Foundation decisions, and protect community trust. 5️⃣ Community Oversight & Accountability Everyone has the right to hold the Foundation accountable, including its initiator. Substantiated violations may result in public corrections, warnings, suspension, or removal, with necessary outcomes disclosed. Conflicted parties must recuse themselves. 🟦 TapeCode-Test1 NFT Design Competition | Official Vote Review Statement To all participants and community members: TapeOut Community Foundation would like to formally address the voting review and sincerely apologize for shortcomings in our initial verification process. 🙏 First, we acknowledge that our original criteria and review procedures were insufficient. The previous "historical strict vote" methodology placed too much emphasis on a limited window of recent X activity and interactions with designated core accounts, without adequately recognizing the broader ways community members contribute to the ecosystem. Furthermore, the list of 67 eligible accounts was frozen after the first round, leaving later participants without an equivalent opportunity for verification. Together, these limitations resulted in some legitimate community participation being unfairly excluded. We take responsibility for these shortcomings. At the same time, we want to recognize the work behind this review. Foundation members and community volunteers dedicated significant personal time to examining previously excluded accounts, reviewing original content, meaningful interactions, and ecosystem contributions, reassessing borderline cases, and cross-checking the data. Errors and omissions discovered during this process were also corrected. This required substantial patience, careful judgment, and commitment. We sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed their time and effort. 💙 Our revised methodology recognizes: ✅ Genuine ecosystem content, meaningful engagement, Builder contributions, development work, and documented donations. ❌ Low-substance interactions and submissions that fail the applicable verification criteria. 🔍 Read-only verification, transparent counting methodologies, and disclosed sensitivity analysis. Final Reviewed Vote Counts: 🔹003 @MostQin: 78 votes 🔹056 @Miloxx23: 84 votes All published methodologies except the previous historical strict count place 056 ahead. Given the narrow six-vote margin, we have also disclosed how borderline classifications could affect the outcome. Transparency does not mean asking the community to trust us blindly. We have deliberately avoided fictional demo data, prefilled achievements, or artificial indicators of progress. Every block must be illuminated through a genuine act of building, reviewing, or supporting the ecosystem, backed by publicly verifiable evidence. Through this simple visual mechanism, we hope to document how community contributions emerge, evolve from individual efforts into collective collaboration, and ultimately become lasting public value. As of October 22, TapeOut has reportedly seen 1,898 processors created and 82,239 circuits taped out across BNB Chain, X Layer, and Base. Following two months of operational observation and a security audit, @Blonskr announced the permanent sealing of administrative privileges over the transistor and circuit contracts of all existing processor projects. This is more than a technical milestone. From Trust Me to Trust the Code. Trustworthy infrastructure should not depend indefinitely on the goodwill of its founder.
