I met a 78 year old man who recently started sleeping at a park I take supplies to. He broke his back working construction. When he got out of the hospital, he had been evicted. A lifetime of his belongings had been thrown away by his landlord. Homelessness is that easy.

Not a single MO R in Congress voted yes for this(except Roy Blunt). Don’t let them take credit for this folks. And the Rs in Jeff City are spending a lot of it. (About 40% of the Mo budget is federal money.) Trump talked about it. Biden did it.

Since 2012, members of the Sackler family have donated over $10 million to the Federalist Society, the group rigging the courts in favor of extreme right-wing conservatives and corporate interests. It’s not a justice system if it’s also an auction. nytimes.com/2023/05/30/healt…

House Republicans have passed a bill that would cut veterans’ health care by 22%. Don’t take our word for it. Take it from veterans themselves.

They’d rather pay your niece or nephew $7 an hour than you $18 an hour. Yet they will still complain about inflation. They’ll double their prices… and then the CEO walks away with twice as much money next year as this year. All while your family struggles. Gotta love capitalism
