When you study the Bible and become familiar with what is written, the Holy Spirit can begin to plug those verses, passages and concepts into your mind, in real time, while youโre handling life situations, and if you listen, this is how you are molded to the character of Christ

#Mavs guard Kyrie Irving was asked about when he plans to retire:
โYou have social media and gambling which is running rampant and itโs not the same NBA that I fell in love with as a kid and Iโm very much aware of that. And I donโt say that as a negative thing.โ

Connecting young people to digital networks serves no purpose if they remain disconnected from themselves, others, and their own interiority. We must help young people rediscover silence, reflection, the ability to ask questions, the depth of relationships, and openness to transcendence. To listen to the soul, we must lend an ear, because the soul's voice is not a shout, but a whisper.

When simulation becomes the norm, it weakens the human capacity for discernment. As a result, our social bonds close in upon themselves, forming self-referential circuits that no longer expose us to reality. We thus come to live within bubbles, impermeable to one another. Feeling threatened by anyone who is different, we grow unaccustomed to encounter and dialogue. In this way, polarization, conflict, fear and violence spread. What is at stake is not merely the risk of error, but a transformation in our very relationship with truth.

โโIf the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. Do you remember what I told you? โA slave is not greater than the master.โ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you.โ

This is our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war. He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them, saying: โEven though you make many prayers, I will not listen: your hands are full of bloodโ (Is 1:15).

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

Neuroscientist study reveals that Gen Z has become the first generation to be less intelligent than its predecessor, the Millennials.
For the first time in 100 years, young people are scoring lower than their parents on IQ tests and core skills like memory, reading, and focus. This is happening mainly in the US and Europe.
The main cause appears to be excessive screen time and digital device use, particularly in schools and social settings. While some suggest Gen Z is just developing different skills, research shows actual declines in fundamental problem-solving abilities.
