GPU’s as a commodity
Griffin thinks GPUs are a commodity: "GPUs, like airlines, have a very low marginal cost to run... the moment you have overcapacity, pricing goes into freefall." Ken Griffin's bear case is supply passing demand in a business where the next unit costs almost nothing to serve, the same setup that took telecom pricing straight down after the 2000 fiber buildout. He thinks every AI return model in use today assumes that never happens. $NVDA $AVGO Citadel CEO Ken Griffin Says AI 'Almost Certainly' in a Bubble; Trump Has 'Mixed Scorecard', Bloomberg Podcasts, October 21, 2026

I was at the 5th game of World Series 1982. Fans Chanting MVP MVP just before Yount Homered for the Brewers. In that game (October 17, 1982, at Milwaukee’s County Stadium), the Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-4 to take a 3-2 series lead. Yount went 4-for-4 (his second four-hit game of the series). His fourth hit was a solo home run off Bob Forsch in the seventh inning after the Cardinals had narrowed the lead to 3-2; it gave Milwaukee a 4-2 cushion (an insurance run). He finished the series batting .414 (12-for-29) with 1 home run, 3 doubles, 6 runs, and 6 RBI.

SpaceX $SPCX
SPCX should be up 30% today. Here’s a great example of how Wall Street discounts what Elon says. Bottom line, analysts cut the low end of his guide in half. Last night he said they’ll exit 2027 with $500B-$1T in revenue run rate. I believe Elon implied the low was based on adding 10 GW of compute in CY27 and the high end 20 GW. My take is there’s a 75% chance they add 10 GW, and 2% chance of 20 GW. So we should focus on the low end, or $500B in ARR exiting 2027, or $125B in Dec-27. Before earnings, the Street was at $31B for Dec-27. He guided to $125B or 300% increase. $SPCX is up 12% on that. It should be 30% plus today. This morning the Street is at $50B. Since many analysts have yet to update numbers, we look at those that have made changes, and those are at around $70B, compared to the “guide” of $125B. That’s the 50% haircut.

CRUMBL Pain!
New story on Crumbl posted. The company has publicly acknowledged its sales challenges and is working to improve marketing. One such plan: To start offering a zero calorie dirty soda and a thin chocolate chip cookie for $1.99 later this week. But sales continue to be weak. "October was a disaster," one franchisee said. One six-unit franchisee has filed for bankruptcy and some others are trying to get out. And then I'll just include the segment below. restaurantbusinessonline.com…
