If I haven't told you lately, thank you for your pity likes. You people. Your impeccable manners are only surpassed by the boundless sympathy you bestow upon my humble tweets. But just so you know, I do accept flowers.
For Halloween, I mascaraed as a prissy, uptight bitch. Boyfriend said, "Hurry up. Put on your costume. Or we'll be late!"

Huge thanks to Jorge, Todd & @thrillernyc for another spectacular Michael Jackson THRILLER finale!
One of NYC’s greatest traditions! 🧟♂️🗽 – at New York, NY
I tried to compose a poem for Halloween, but I'm not a poet. And not good with Halloween. That's two strikes against me, I suppose. So I'll just shout, "Boo!" and hope I made you smile on count three.

Charles Grodin absolutely wrecks Robert De Niro in Midnight Run.
He needles him so hard that De Niro cracks for a split second, glances at the camera and mutters: “Pain in the ass this guy is.” Then snaps right back in.
Grodin pauses… then hits him again. 😂🤣

The internet was fun because people lived interesting lives offline and then posted about their experiences online, the problem was it got so good that everyone started living online instead, so we ran out of experiences to post about
It occured to me that even if my scripts never get produced, I enjoyed writing them despite the challenges. When I finished one, got coverage, made revisions, then filed it along with my other scripts, I was happy in a way that feels unlike any other.
The first time I went to a screenwriters' conference, I noticed the confident ones wore hoodies. They were cool. So was I, but I skipped over to the gift shop to get one so they knew I was cool, too.
(I'm wearing it now, old as it is.)

I do enjoy a good pillow book now and then.
Apart from anything else, a prude always reveals himself or herself to be very poorly read. You cannot engage with literature on any significant level without encountering human sexuality in the raw. The ancient Roman poets Catullus or Horace or Ovid are completely beyond you, as are Chaucer, Giovanni Boccaccio, Dante Alighieri, the beautiful pillow books of Japan and the Kama Sutra, Daniel Defoe, D. H. Lawrence, James Joyce, William Faulkner, Vladimir Nabokov, Truman Capote, the entire Beat Generation, Edna O’Brien, Anaïs Nin, Larry Kramer, Henry Miller, Toni Morrison, Maya Angelou, Dorothy Allison, Philip Roth, Gary Indiana, Thomas Pynchon, Cormac McCarthy. Good luck, prudes.
